Mother Nature awaits you an hour outside of Salt Lake City. Make a splash at Deer Creek on the swimming beach or opt for boating with a rental from Deer Creek Island Resort.
If you prefer something a little faster, they offer jet ski rentals too! Ever wanted to learn to kite surf? Alternate between riding the waves and soaring above them with a kite surfing lesson.
Spend an afternoon hiking around the Deer Creek Trail. This trail runs a little over eight miles, but doesn't allow dogs. You can also bike this trail or ride on horseback.
This vacation showplace offers a luxurious lodge and cottages. If you prefer to sleep under the stars, there are several campgrounds for tents and RVs around the park. Enjoy a restroom with shower in the evenings and fish cleaning station.
