We're a family owned RV Park & Campground located on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our newly adopted home. We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead. At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't. We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent. We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources. We hope you can help us maintain this greener camping! We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place. We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings. Pet Policy All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard. The Sierra Stream camper, our seriously cool Airstream remodel, is designed for a nature-loving couple, but could also accommodate a family with a baby co-sleeping with parents. There's a space for a 2-person tent that can be pitched outside the trailer for an extra fee, if there are additional 1-2 people keen on joining you (so up to four guests in total can stay here: two in the trailer and further two tent camping outside), please ask prior to requesting the booking. Short walk from the reservoir, the Sierra Stream features a queen size bed with scenic mountain backdrop painted by previous owner Veronika and woodwork created by our friend Peter. A full size farmhouse sink, fireplace, library, spectacular view of the mountains and the reservoir, induction stove, Chemex coffee maker, cozy seating/dining area are just a few of our favorite things. Fridge, microwave and toaster are also part of the rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. An "oh so cozy" down comforter, cotton sheets, bath towels, and dish towels are all provided, and hot spring towels are available upon request. Even though Sierra Stream offers many "luxuries", it DOES NOT have a toilet or shower. We wanted you to enjoy an open layout with tons of space and proximity to the reservoir (this camper is located the closest to the shore). Including the shower/toilet would require hooking this camper up to septic, which wouldn't be possible at the current spot. We believe the location and the view you'll be getting are worth a little walk to our immaculate communal bathrooms (about 100 yards away). The camper has a high speed (1GB) fiber optic WIFI internet, cooling system, and an outside seating area with fire pit, barbecue and ultra cool camp stove. We also provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining, and you can buy firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered. We have two kayaks, SUP and paddle boat you can use for free on the reservoir. The rate includes space rent, propane, our awesome wifi, one parking spot as well as Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). There's an additional flat rate for optional tent camping (regardless if 1 or 2 people camp) - please set the number of campers to three and let us know if 3 or 4 people will be coming to stay. We can also accommodate an extra car, if needed, in our overflow parking at extra fee. You can now get all your remote work done while enjoying everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer! If you come to stay with us over the weekend, you're welcome to join us around the campfire and connect with fellow campers (we have fires on most Saturdays, weather permitting). We're the best fit for campers who appreciate a safe space with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and are keen to embrace community vibe and meet others. Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. Typically, the lake’s edge will recede as the season progresses. So, if you are coming later in the season (late August onwards), you should expect the water level to be lower. Swimming isn't available, particularly in late July onwards. We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. We get awesome sunsets and sunrises over the Sawtooth Ridge nonetheless! Did we mention that we love dogs? You will see them around the camp. They're strictly not allowed in this camper but we could possibly accommodate one mellow dog if s/he stays with your friends tent camping outside the Airstream - please let us know the pup's breed when requesting the booking. With queen size bed, two bunk beds, a play area that can be turn into king size bed, there's plenty of room for everyone. The private bathroom is large and has a separate outdoor entrance. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster are all provided. The kitchen is equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. Bed sheets, towels, blankets, and dish towels are ready for your use. The trailer also has a flat screen TV with DVD player, high speed (1GB) fiber optic WIFI internet, cooling system, and an outside area with outdoor furniture. We also provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get you set up for your grilling, and you can buy firewood at our office. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered. The rate includes space rent, propane, our awesome , one parking spot as well as Mono County occupancy tax (TOT). You can now get all your remote work done while enjoying everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer! We recommend the nearby Twin Lakes just off Bridgeport if you would like to go for a swim, while you're welcome to use our complimentary kayaks and SUP on the reservoir. If you looks closely, you’ll find signs of a family growing up in this home; the marks of the little one's heights etched on the door frame; pictures moved up and down leaving the tell tale nail holes. The house does tell the story of love and family growth, intertwined with the passion for the Eastern Sierra.. And then there are the birds chirping, the snow-capped mountains, the magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the reservoir, and unspeakable beauty of this country one can easily fall in love with. We open our home to you and hope you love it as much as we do. The year-round Blu House sleeps five and is a perfect fit for a family or group of friends who know each other well and are pretty comfortable together. The primary bedroom comes with super comfy queen size bed and en suite full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has adult size queen over queen bunk beds. There's also a second half bathroom with sink and toilet across the hallway from the primary bedroom. Please note that both, main bedroom and its bathroom, have curtains instead of door to maximize on the space, we hope you will be comfortable with this setup and will embrace it. A private hot tub, full size farmhouse sink, wood burning stove (one bundle of firewood provided) and large screen projector with home theater (DVDs provided) are just a few of our favorite features. You can't beat the serenity of this place, especially in the winter. The house and pretty much the whole area is just incredibly peaceful between November and March and it's a perfect destination to experience the winter magic, be still and see into the heart of the universe (stargazing is off the hook here!), and get away from the city hustle and bustle. French door fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster are also part of the rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. You’ll also find there coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. The "oh so cozy" down comforters, cotton sheets, bath towels, and dish towels are all provided. You're welcome to use our washer/dryer and the dishwasher (we provide detergents). This mobile home has a WiFi, cooling system, and an outside seating area with ultra cool hot tub. In the summer, there's also a barbecue and we provide charcoal briquettes for it, to get you set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes, and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from here. The Blu House is located 2 miles from the historic town of Bridgeport. Bridgeport is a cute little town with couple restaurants, sporting store, gift shops, bakery etc. We've put together a guestbook with some useful recommendations, which you'll find in the house along with the house manual. You'll have access to the entire house. When our RV camp is open (late April through mid-October) you are also welcome to hang out at our various common areas with fireplaces and barbecues, which we tend to improve every year. We have two kayaks, SUP and paddle boat you can use for free on the reservoir in the mid-spring through early fall and for your winter fun, there's June Mountain ski area 45 minutes drive away and Mammoth Mountain ski area an hour drive away from here. Closer to the house, you can venture into Virginia Lakes area overlooking Mono Lake to ski or snowshoe there and end your daily adventures soaking in the unique Travertine Hot Springs located just 10 minutes from here. It also has a huge 38” flat-screen TV with a DVD player, surround sound, and a porcelain commode. Yup, this is one top-notch trailer. This 35’ long beauty has it all and sleeps four. The large living area comes with a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and also features a large wall-to-wall closet. The living room sofa can also be converted into an additional queen size bed. Two sets of sheets, towels, and dish towels are provided and more are available upon request. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is located on a major bird migration route. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow pace life instead. Please note that the water level in the reservoir varies greatly, based on the snow pack and time of year and may be lower if there's a little snow in the winter. LOVED the campsite, absolutely beautiful and accommodations for anything you’d need. Owners are the nicest people and there’s even a public cooking spot for everyone and showers with bathroom necessities. Only cons are the wind can be harsh and make camping in a tent or fishing a bit harder so I would check weather before visiting.

gorgeous site!! tent site #4 was set away from the others and right on the water. the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming; i’ve never had access to so many on-site amenities at a hipcamp before. hot springs, mountains, lakes galore!!

Beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. Quite a lot of bugs but they weren’t the biting kind. We got rained out from our planned bike ride but we’ll come back again. Price seems very reasonable.

Overall a great stay. We visited during April so the other camp spots were closed. It was quiet except for the occasional car/trucks driving by. 30-45 min scenic drive to mono lake depending on the visit location. It would have been close to Bodie state park except the regular road to the park was closed in mid April. The long way took about an hour on gravel and dirt road still worth the visit though. Very close to the natural hot spring.

We were welcomed by the lovely Elizabeth and felt so happy to be there. The bathrooms are clean and amazing. Well stocked and decorated so cute! The site was quiet and peaceful. However, no swimming in the water! Wish we would’ve known that. BUT we found some great swimming spots and hikes nearby.

Tent camping here is great aside from the bugs from the reservoir swarming at night. Getting in and out of the tent without having 100 mosquito and knats following you in was a bit of a challenge. T4 has the best view and is away from the other tent sites but it's the furthest walk to the bathroom, showers, and communal kitchen space etc. it's also the only tent space with no cover at all from the sun and no bushes to block the straight line winds that come off the water if there is rain coming. Every other tent site had some shade as well as a protective barrier from the wind so I would suggest they work on that or make that more clear in the description. I would definitely go back. It was a great experience

The site was super close to it but it didn’t bother me but might bother others. It was a big space. Came at end of season so water was already back a bit but still stunning.

We had a great time at this camp site. It’s a good camp base for exploring Yosemite National Park. The restrooms and showers were clean. The Reservoir and scenery was beautiful. It is also dog friendly and our Kobe loved his stay.

Staff was nice and very helpful. Really nice job of decorating and maintaining the shower area. Outdoor firepit area was comfortable. Really enjoyed the nighttime views of the stars!

I loved staying here! We decided to car camp which I was grateful for since it was cold at night. The bathrooms and showers were great and rarely used by other campers. The outdoor kitchen was extremely helpful for dishwashing! I had intended to charge my Tesla overnight to at least avoid losing battery. I forgot my convertor, and the host reminded me that their hookups were not designed for cars. So, I ended up charging at superchargers, which made our route a bit longer, but gave us new views. “Electrify America” is nearby but I never needed to go there. I’d absolutely love to stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The campground is well kept and the host is very friendly and accommodating. The view of the Bridgeport Reservoir is beautiful with a beach that you can walk on and borrow paddle boards and kayaks. The sites are close together and it looks like there a some full time residents.

When driving up to the camp site I started to cry. It was breathtaking! My spot T2 had a tiki umbrella, picnic table and fire pit. It was the perfect spot. I’m a solo female traveler and felt completely safe. Great accommodations, clean facilities and free washer and dryers with quarters. Free kayaks and stand up paddle boards. A+ rating!!

The camp sites, bathrooms, fire pits, shared spaces and showers were all well maintained and clean. We had a site along the shore next to the water, which was a bit windy HOWEVER not a complaint at all because the view of the sunset and over the mountains and the lake were totally worth it. The rest of the people camping in Paradise Shores were all friendly and respectful of quiet hours. Would recommend to anyone who wants to camp but isn't ready for the full wilderness experience.

The Paradise Shores Resort was great! Our spot 27 was extra wide and had a direct view of the lake. The hosts of the campground have gone above and beyond to have great amenities. They have a great outdoor kitchen that is available for use. The community fire pit overlooks the lake and is a great spot to watch some amazing sunsets. We also saw so many stars, the Milky Way and some shooting meteors while sitting there after dark. There are so many great places to explore in the area and this was a great home base. We stayed for a week and were sad to leave.

Our site had beautiful views of the reservoir, mountains and sunset. Host on the grounds was Elizabeth. They greeted us kindly and we're very welcoming! Kitchen and restrooms were neat and stocked with things you may have forgotten like shampoo or cotton swabs. Although our site was clean, the walkways/driveways on the grounds were not due to guests with pets not picking up after them. Besides their excrement on the floor, not all dogs were kept on a leash and they wandered into our and other sites.

Adirondack Camper

This is a fantastic spot to unwind! I absolutely loved the camper—it’s well-maintained and fully functional. The property is conveniently located next to the reservoir, offering a serene setting to sit by the water or explore the beautiful nearby attractions. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and you should definitely visit their office for information on local hikes and lakes.

This camping is amazing!! The owners are ready to help you with anything and recommended us with wonderful places around. The camping space is big and there are great accommodations: fire pit, outside kitchen, really clean bathroom and shower. I would say that it was my best camping experience: I felt like home 🫶🏻

This is a super friendly and well run campground, they've really thought hard about how to provide everyone with what they need. Our site had full hookups, which we loved when it was hot and we could use the AC. The teens loved the excellent wifi. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and well maintained. Loved that they had various floating toys to try out on the lake.
