There is now diverse plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptile. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills and keep making this small patch of earth better. The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin. Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. The barn is off limits. River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. We are currently working on a big outdoor kitchen, where we will have pizza ovens, canning facilities and a beautiful place to gather in the woods. Again still a work in progress. Some spots have fire pits. Again depending on time of year and heat conditions. Because we have so many trees, we have to make sure no fires are to close to any tree's. We turned the 4 stall barn into a music room where we gather and host events. Soon we will have designated Spots, equipped with fire rings. We will have teepees, tree houses, glamping tents. Currently we have an out house and hose shower and you can also use the potty Under the Star's. We provide Toilet paper and try to keep stocked but, just ask if outhouses are out of paper. Our piece of heaven… We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill(bring your own propane or rent a bottle from us), fire pit, patio set, table and chairs. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. Some spots have fire pits. Again depending on time of year and heat conditions. Because we have so many trees, we have to make sure no fires are to close to any tree's. The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. From the very first email to Brooke, to checking out Sunday morning waving bye to Tom our weekend at Creekside Retreat was incredible. The campground is stunning, beautifully maintained, and packed full of activities from board games to hiking to a waterfall. The hosts have taken their hearts and souls and embedded it into this retreat and it shows through all the details. Not only will this be my favorite spot forever, it’s the one I’ll be telling everyone about. Thank you for the best weekend away! There is now diverse plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptile. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills and keep making this small patch of earth better. The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin. Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. The barn is off limits. River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

Had a Great Time with my Daughter, quite and Will Never Not bring Cash to camp ground. Need it to Buy Firewood, or Bring Your Own Otherwise bathrooms were clean Loved the place

Beachside State Recreation Site Campground
Great spot, some sites are a little close together and some back up to the highway, but overall a very nice spot to stop at if you are traveling the Oregon coast. The page up above says pets aren't allowed, but that is not the case at all. I took my lab and she loved it. Saw many other dogs in the campground and on the beach. The no pets thing may refer to seasonal restrictions on pets due to nesting birds, but that would only apply to the beach, not the campground.
