PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here. Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us. The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip!

FIRE BAN IS IN EFFECT ALL YEAR ROUND. This includes NO USE of camp stoves, jet boils, bbq grills unless inside your van or trailer. Please plan on picnic foods. Thank you. This is a high desert terrain highly volatile and afternoon breezes can come up in the summer.
There are 3 RV and/or camping sites available for campers to book. Please note that there are no RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message.
There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose.
Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times.
The property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer.
Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

If you arrive without your own toilet you will be asked to leave. Doggies are allowed and should be leased for the safety of wildlife. All pets must sleep in your RV. There are many critters out at night!
There is a 20 AMP electric hook up to power. YOU CAN NOT RUN AN AIR CONDITIONER...AC.... ON A 20 AMP CONNECTION. You can use your own generator system to run AC for your trailer, motorhome or van. Generators hours are 8AM to 9PM. lease be respectful of our quiet space and only run generators when necessary.
The camp is by a beautiful Zinnia garden which blooms in the summer and a small orchard which is all fenced in. The property is wooded and has a view of Mt Shasta from the camp.
The camp has a picnic table, two outdoor chairs, WE ARE UNDER CAMPFIRE RESTRICTIONS AT THIS TIME. NO CAMPFIRES WILL BE ALLOWED. Please ask upon your arrival if restrictions have been lifted.
There is a cool soaking tub available to beat the heat during the summer months!

There are several walks right from the Camp to a beautiful pond and hill walks for panoramic views. All dirt roads... so great mountain bike exploring!

Great spot! Very nice getaway in the oaks! Nice frisbee golf setup on the property and a hammock, table, and queens/kings chair at the site. So close to Whiskeytown and the Trinity Alps!

This was supposed to be a quick stop on our way back home from a long road trip. We weren't expecting much just somewhere to sleep for the night. Well we were wrong! This site was amazing.! It had a lounge in a barn that was lit up in fairy lights, a nice bathroom and a wonderfully kind host. We got a bit turned around when we got there and Karen was so helpful and patient. Even though it was late at night. Karen's husband came to greet us when we arrived and pointed out a great spot to pitch our tent. My daughters and I felt so comfortable and safe. We will 100% be coming back here! Thank you so much Karen!

We cannot recommend this place enough! Plenty of spots to camp. We had a spot with a river view and it was beautiful with a campfire ring and picnic table. The hotsprings are just a short walk away, we had all the pools to ourselves when we were there. There were two other couples camping but enough space that when we were in the pools we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and didnt have to share any of the pools. The bathrooms were clean, they brought us over firewood and the host came and checked on us to see if there was anything we needed and to just introduce himself. It was a great experience. We’ve already recommended it to so many people. Just make sure to do your communication before hand because you don’t get cell service out there.

A beautiful experience at Shasta Gardens! Ali T. was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The property is home to a stunning 'Grandmother Tree' and offers some of the best stargazing I’ve ever seen. We stayed for Mother's Day and especially enjoyed the fire stand Ali provided; sitting around the fire was so relaxing. Very comfortable and highly recommended!

Scott was such a kind host. The property is beautiful and it was nice to have access to a bathroom and outdoor kitchen while camping and otherwise feeling off the grid. I would definitely come back! All the campsites are beautiful and situated along the creek. Scott set up the pizza oven for us, brought us chairs when we mentioned we didn't bring any, and also took us to see his animals when we mentioned interest.
We used the campsite as a jumping off point to explore the surrounding areas, including potem falls, castle lake, etc. We wanted to check out the hot springs down the road but couldn't find it. Net time will make sure to ask Scott for directions before leaving!

I love this place. Beautiful, quiet return to nature. Property is a slice of heaven. I felt safe and relaxed for a lovely day.
I wish I could have camped overnight in my car. Regardless I will be a regular from now on.
No wifi, no noise just butterflies, song birds, geese and the lumaby from the river.

This is a very cool spot with tons of space and in the middle of nowhere with tons of beautiful features from night time star gazing to hiking trails, and multiple natural hot spring pools that are in amazing condition. The Host Scott is such an amazing person and made us feel welcomed and provided tons of cool stories and vibes.

Our single night was very pleasant. It's clear that Karen thinks about her property and what campers might need. The amenities were all clean and well cared for, and the farm animals were a bonus. The location is quite convenient. We would definitely stay again.
