I am almost hesitant to write this review, as I’d prefer to keep this place to ourselves! However I don’t think that’s fair to Jim. This is going to be a regular place to camp for me and my family. Great area, great amenities, amazing views, and Jim was super helpful. Can’t recommend enough, just don’t flock to it so we can still get a site!
Fantastic view of the new river
These RV sites are close together but have all the amenities, including refreshing cool well water with no mineral taste. The New River rail trail is right there, and we enjoyed a long bike ride both days. There is no shade on the sites, so an awning is essential. The view is just amazing when you look down from the cliff. We plan to come back in the fall.
Great mountain view’s
The description doesn’t do this location justice! Site was clean and quiet. Great mountain and river views. Woke up in the clouds both days. Picnic tables and excellent fire rings with logs to sit on. Not to far from Claytor lake. This was an awesome trip!
Peaceful stay with a great view!
Very remote location and yet accessible to the New River Trail. We rode our bikes to P26 and back; beautiful scenery along the river. The hilltop location has a very nice view over the river valley.
The camping property is still a work in process as it is brand new, so expect a bit of construction debris, but the view and serenity takes your mind off that.
What a hidden gem! As others have written, I hate to write this review because this place is in it's first year so it will become a regular spot for most.... including my family! Jim and Michelle were amazing, could not be happier with our hosts. A view to remember from all 6 sites and a bonus "observation deck". Easy access to the New River hiking and biking trail. Beautiful fire pits and picnic tables in every site. Full hook up's which just allows you to camp and not worry about anything. I wont spoil the natural wonders you will witness but lets just say you will be amazed! We are already planning our return trip, thanks Jim and Michelle!
