Coastal Calm

Peaceful spot by the estuary. Good fishing and crab catching, and you could launch a boat right from the shore. We chose to go to South Slough to kayak, but either way you'll have a great time. Amani was super nice, and there was a clean porta-john on site. A picnic table would make it a little easier to cook, but he provided a big jug of water and trash bags to keep clean.

Sunset spot and berry picking!

Coastal Calm

A great little basic campsite to see the sun set and pick marion berries. Amani and family were welcoming and friendly, providing us with fresh water, plates,cups, insert repellent and lotion. It’s super close to Coos Bay township if you want to go and sample a local brew, or bring some back to sit outside your tent or camper and watch the sun go down. Nice water access for kayaks or canoes.
