Our special "cloud" project is a community purchased community campground and art and nature space dedicated to saving trees from clear cutting. You can read more about us, and possible investment opportunities on our website. Our private forest campsite rests in a clear cut of trees peeking down at the ocean and estuary. Natural wildlife abounds in this fairyland, with turkey tail and other medicinal and culinary mushrooms abundant for foraging. The open prairie-type setting of the center offers plenty of warmth if desired. Campers can retreat to the edges of the estuary site for cool and protection in trees. Star gazing here is an absolute delight!
Hike through the woods and down to the estuary for a nice kayak or boat ride.
This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out camp space! Please bring your own water and manage your own human waste.
The surrounding 45 acres are part of what is established as a community owned project named "the cloud". Eventual road building and site clearing will be in process. Greenhouses, zip lines, cabins, and community cooking spaces will be established in a few years' time. Stay tuned!
