The Dwelly Homestead has been in the family since 1865. We began as a dairy farm, but in 1999 a tornado tore through the barn. The irony in this has supplied us with the much needed humor, as the landowner's third cousin is Frank L. Baum, who grew up just one town over in Chittenango. The house did not land in Oz, but it did allow us to grow crops that better serve the farms that surround us. We invite you to write the next chapter for this homestead. Camp on the hill behind the house with a view of Syracuse and very near Cazenovia and Owera Winery.
