This site was not friendly to our Class A motorhome. There's not enough room for two units. We had to encroach on both sites to be able reach the electric with two lengths of cord. And even at that, it was barely long enough to plug in. It was also challenging to deal with the highway, 706. The road wouldn't have been a problem if the site had more wiggle room, but it didn't This was our first hip camp experience. Not good. It was not worth the fee.

Site matched host’s description. Booked day and Jeff was very responsive and professional.

Perfect if you are going to explore the park. Right on side of road so expect daytime road noise. Night was quiet all 3 days.

The Good: Its a great location about 1 mile from the park entrance. It is across the street from a decent restaurant. It does have power but see below. There is also some shade at the rear of the site.

The not so good: It is apparently suppose to be 2 separate sites. The pull in is a Y shape. It is right off the highway so there is a bit of traffic during the day and more on weekends. But relatively few cars at night. Getting into the site can be tough as you either have to back in from the highway or back out later onto the highway. One of the "sites" is gravel which is ok but not leveled but not bad. The other is dirt/bark which is far from level. The dog kennel is nice if it was finished and not locked (we couldn't use it). But it is also a dirt floor so your pup will be covered in dirt (pea gravel would be a great kennel base). Electricity is only near the highway. I had to string together two 50-foot extension cords to get power to our small trailer. There was one 50 amp and one regular outlet. There was no way for us to use the 50amp as we would have had to park right next to the highway or have a 100 foot 50amp extension cord.

HUGE POTENTIAL: This spot could be a really great location. If there was a U-shaped (drive thru) drive in/out your could easily get off the highway and park your rig. If the power was at the sites like a normal campground so you just get your cord out and plug in. If the entire site was rented as a single unit. If there were a picnic table/fire ring. And if the dog kennel was finished and had pea gravel as the base instead of dirt.

Jeff was really responsive and we did have the use of the entire site as no one else was there when we were. It would be a bit too close for comfort if strangers were in the other site. Jeff responded quickly when we had questions and was easy to work with. Jeff did tell us 9after we were there) that he was still working on the sites so this would have been good to know before we got there as we could have planned a little better. In the end, once completed it will be a great location, until its ready for prime-time, bring extension cords and enjoy the quick access to the park and the restaurant across the street.
