Please help us keep this creek-side berry and pumpkin farm clean and serene for all visitors. We're near I81, Rt 7, I66 and Rt 50/17, grocery stores, Civil War battlefields and so much. The creek is a rocky bottom watershed that flows into the Potomac River.
We are just now opening, so please be patient while we work through the learning curve and do let us know if we can do anything for you. This is a DIY spot, not a bougey resort. You'll need to be self-sufficient. This place is ideal for through-travelers and folks staying for 1 to 3 days, but longer visits are allowed. Just keep in mind that this is simply a working farm, so resort-style campground activities do not exist here. Rather what you will find is serenity and easy access to fun places to visit, especially Civil War tourism and visits to DC and Harpers Ferry.
(Please remember bug spray! It's getting warmer which means that bugs are out, but hey, that's part of being outdoors.)

We were looking for a place for a quick getaway with our camping friends and Berryville Berries popped up on both of our Hipcamp apps. The few reviews seemed very promising, so we booked for 4 nights.
Directions to Berryville Berries are very clear, the Google Maps pin is exactly on the entrance to the camping areas.
Our site was very secluded, with the Opequon Creek flowing on one boundary. Deer regularly visited te creek just downstream from the site. Wasn't too buggy, even after a bit of rain. Great fire pit - appears to be enough deadfall around to keep a fire, but I would bring my own firewood (which we did at Blake's recommendation). The site was very level and had plenty of room...enough for two camper trailers and their tow vehicles, with room to spare.
Explored the other sites and they are just as secluded. Had three other sites filled while we were there and didn't even know they were occupied until we did a morning walk around the meadow.
Blake is an exceptional host...answered any questions we had before arriving and he even stopped by for a visit during our stay.
Yes, we will be going back!
Very beautiful spot by a creek, felt like backcountry.. the site we were at necessitated walking to it, with grill etc some 60 yards or so unless you have a Jeep or SUV. Will definitely go back
The site was beautiful, thank you for sharing it with us and allowing us to stay here. We booked last minute and everything worked out smoothly. The campsite was right next to water so bring bug spray/mosquito repellant. Aside from that, beautiful spot and peaceful too. You can hear the water running and it’s shaded nicely too. We were happy with the stay! The only thing is our GPS accidentally took us to the neighbors address so just make sure to make the right turn before you do. If you end up on a paved road with a stop sign telling you a vet lives here, you’re a turn too early or a turn too late depending on which way you’re coming from.
This property is stunning, with fields, woods, and creek side campsites. There was no shortage of wildlife and it really felt like an escape. Blake was responsive to our questions when we arrived, was sure to notify us of incoming bad weather, and just all around accommodating and a fantastic host!
Such a beautiful spot! Enjoyed the shade trees and creek! Spots were spread out well which gave a great sense of privacy. Clean porta-John. Plenty of cleared space for my setup and parking. Site 3 was fantastic!! Blake made me feel welcome by putting a couple folding chairs out for my boys who were going to stop by.
My only issue was I had read there was a trash bin to use but I couldn’t find it so had to bring my trash home. Thankfully it was only a small bag in an open jeep. There are ticks in tall grass field and mosquitoes but we are in their home so I expect it. 😉 loved seeing the stars and lightning bugs at night! Waking to the sound of the creek was amazing!!!
I selfishly hope he doesn’t get too popular as I hope to make this a regular spot for me!!

A peaceful setting on a beautiful farm with a cool shaded stream. Nice and close to plenty of amenities and a great place to get away from it all.
This is THE place. The directions were spot on. The drive through their property gives you just the idea of what to expect. The landscape is gorgeous, the creek is peaceful and there's bird watching galore. My 10 year got his fill of fishing, nothing spectacular but he was siked with what he got. Really can't say enough about this place. Just gonna have to experience it for your self..
Thank you for opening your property!! We'll see you guys in the Fall!

Leslie! You are awesome! Thank you for this kind review. I hope that you guys will come back soon for another great weekend! Happy Trails! Blake
