Hipcamper since January 2020

Intro: My husband and I travel across the US to judge Professional KCBS BBQ Competitions, explore National and State Parks, discover small towns along the way, and to meet new people. Our dogs Eli and Brooklyn love the camping life and travel with us.
Our home on the road is a 26' travel trailer pulled by a Ford F150. It's the perfect size for us and truly our home away from home.

in Sugar White Sand - St. Joe Beach, FloridaThere is a full hook-up and an outdoor shower, and it is close to Port St. Joe and Mexico beaches. The neighborhood is quiet.
The guy who complained about the older woman next door must not have any compassion. She comes outside with her dog and likes to talk to people; she is probably lonely. She talks to her dog, but what dog owner doesn't talk to their dog?

Robert was very responsive. We drove out to look at his property, which is secluded and beautiful! Unfortunately, due to family reasons, we were not able to stay.

Amy and Bill are terrific hosts! The property and area are beautiful. We were greeted each morning by two miniature horses, Coda the cat and Bentley the pooch!
The town of Newtown has so much to offer; fine breweries, ice cream from a dairy farm, restaurants, and the most incredible historic theater!
Amy and Bill offered us freshly baked zucchini bread from Billâs sister, a tomato, and a cucumber from their garden. We enjoyed all of it!
They have a large field with paths mowed in it that our dog loved running on and fresh fruits and veggies they grow that you can enjoy when in season.
This HipCamp has a great location, thoughtful hosts, and privacy. We hope to return someday.

in Fraserville Off-Grid Camping, Nova ScotiaAmazing view of bay of fundy
Danâs location on top of a hill has fantastic views of the Bay of Fundy! There was plenty of room for our travel trailer and pickup truck. We walked to the beach to see the low tide, amazing!

Good location close to Petrified Forest National Park. Jorge was welcoming and showed us several sites to choose from. Plenty of room for several rigs without being too close to each other. Our dog loved being able to run off leash.
