Enjoy your stay next to our edible forest garden and orchard of berries, nuts  and fruit trees.  Various seasons will offer you an opportunity to pick your own breakfast in our maturing establishment.  If you are a permacultrue  enthusiast you will enjoy exploring, and examining our 7 year permacultuire food forest with chestnut seedlings already tall enough to climb , 10-foot hazels bearing buckets of nuts and a different selection of raspberries, blackberries, gooseberry, currents, golden berries, service berries and Mulberries.  We can arrange for an educational experience with our permaculture expert if requested in advance    Enjoy a stroll   through the meadow trail to breath in  morning views and evening fireflies and stars.  The camp area is very private but household amenities are not far away if desired.   Nearby blue mark trails, mountain biking, winery, lake and outdoor activities are at your fingertips and your hosts will be happy to provide any assistance needed to find or enjoy these opportunities.  We can provide breakfast upon request from our free range chickens on our kiwi lined deck with beautiful mountain views.  It would not be rare to have a guitar player join your fire.  Private yoga or other experiences can be arranged upon request or just come and enjoy the croak of the bullfrog and the sound of the crickets.  We are new and growing our amenities so at this time check the overview for available emmendties but you can guarantee we won't disappoint.  Come visit Mickelberry Forest Garden!!!

Mickleberry Farms was a great spot. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The camper site was fairly close to the house but felt private and the hosts really made a point of making sure we weren’t disturbed. Tent camp sites are in an upper pasture which would be a really ideal experience. The spot is very rural but only ten to fifteen minutes from a main road. Great location -

Really beautiful, peaceful location. Bird song was lovely -Fantastic location for both tent and small campersMorning tea looking out over beautiful rolling hills. Owners have tent camping space in an upper pasture and a spot near the fire pit for small campers. This is a really great location.

You were wonderful visitors. My husband really loved your camper and Charile was a wonderful guest as well!!! We agree the camper spot is a bit close to the house and are working on a new parking spot in mind for upper meadow. Thank you for the great photos as well. Happy Camping!!! Come back again some time! Bill and Amy

Absolutely lovely location and the hosts were more than helpful, really going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Definitely recommend this location - we will be back the next time our travels take us to western CT.

I was initially a bit hesitant booking this place however I took a chance and I’m glad I did. It was exactly what I was hoping it’d be. The grounds were awesome and the owners couldn’t have been friendlier. If you’re looking for a peaceful dog friendly location to do some glorified camping ... this is your place.

Highly recommend this spot! My boyfriend and I rented a car from NYC and brought my dog up to spend a couple of quiet nights out of the city. We could not have been more pleased with the location and hosts. Amy and Bill were so laid back and helpful throughout our stay. The communication was excellent and they were so friendly and accommodating. They are respectful of privacy while also being open and available to socializing and having a good time. We loved being right next to the chicken coop and waking up to fresh eggs for breakfast! Overall an amazing experience and we hope to come back.

We enjoyed hosting you guys so much. A great, friendly, kind , group of campers. Despite the rain it seems it did not slow you down or dampen your time together. You all still had a great time and we hope you come back!! It was so fun making you breakfast and taking you to the lake to kayak. Thank you for your generosity and peace to our new friends. Our best. Bill and Amy
