Close but secluded enough to feel like you have your own private piece of paradise with amazing sunsets and sunrises! The bay is full of life: watch mullet jump, catch crabs, watch for dolphins and sting rays. If you enjoy fishing, try night fishing on the dock, too. Bay charters come to fish near our dock on their excursions! If you bring a boat, Cessna Landing is just under 2 miles away with a very nice free public boat launch. Tie your boat to our dock for the duration of your visit. Boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming, sunset watching, bicycling and campfires are a few things to enjoy while at the 30A Bay Getaway. Exclusive use of the Washer/dryer, large screen porch, heated/cooled 1/2 bath, sunset viewing deck, bay beach/dock, fire pit and heated outdoor shower are included in the listing. Owners are not onsite during rental periods so you will have the place all to yourselves. This is our vacation home but as we have busy lives with small children we want to share this amazing place with others when we are not able to enjoy it. A few cautions: 1. At certain times of the year the noseeums and mosquitos can be plentiful, bring bug spray! 2. 30A Bay Getaway is located in a natural environment with lots of wildlife. Use caution and common sense. 3. When the winter winds are blowing out of the northwest, it can be breezy and chilly. 4. Water levels will vary based upon the tides and wind conditions. During the winter low tides may reduce boat access to the dock.

Amazing private retreat for our fam
This site it legitimately amazing!!! Our only regret is that we didn’t book for more nights on our way from Texas to Orlando. The deck access is perfect especially with all the rain we had during stay. It was clean with everything you could possibly need.
Definitely added to our list of awesome sites!
Best waterfront camp anywhere!
We have camped all over this part of Florida. This is now our all time favorite spot. Everything we needed and more was here. If you want peace and quiet this is the place. Also close to civilization if you can tear yourself away. (We couldn't!)
Perfect place to stay on 30a
This was my first hip camp stay, and it exceeded expectations. The camp was private, very well maintained, and had everything we needed. Nathan was super helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Get up early for an amazing sunrise over the dock and watch the herons fighting and pelicans fishing!
Perfect for our family!
What a great place to stay! Totally private with a lot to do right on the property! We stayed here for almost 3 weeks with four little kids (ages 1-6). You can tell a lot of thought was put into the items that were available for us to use during our stay to help make it even more enjoyable. The kids loved the hammocks, the little fishing nets and boogie boards (among other items) and we enjoyed using the kayaks! Having a washer/dryer was AMAZING and we loved the screened in back porch. The location is great too - only a 20 minute drive to Seaside and also super-close to Publix and a Walmart. WiFi was available - it wasn’t phenomenal, but it wasn’t horrible either.
The only downsides:
1. We are a 44ft long fifth-wheel and it was tight getting in and around the little lake that is at the entrance and moving into the spot (owners are working on that!).
2. The bugs. The no-see-ums were in full force (I guess they aren’t present all the time and come and go in seasons?) and some times of the days made us want to leave or stay inside. We all got bit up pretty good (The bugs fit through our screens) and even bought a UV light bug catcher during our stay to help catch them side our rig. Bug spray was recommended by the owners, so definitely bring some!
Even with the bugs, we still had such a great time and created some fun memories on the hammocks, catching crabs and finding mussels among other things! We’re so glad we were able to stay here. Thanks again!
Great retreat for our family!
We absolutely loved staying here! The property was private and you can tell that Nathan and Crystal put a lot into helping you have a great experience with special touches and items they have available for you to use. We loved having access to the kayaks and hammocks and even their screened-in back porch and deck. We also loved having access to the washer and dryer :-) We stayed here with four kids (ages 1-6) and we loved it. The drive to Seaside is only 20 minutes, and you have easy access to a Publix and also a Walmart. Internet isn’t awesome but it’s not horrible either.
The only downsides:
1) It was a tight squeeze fitting in our 44 foot fifth wheel! However, the owners came out and talked with us how they could make the space even more accommodating to fit rigs our size, and they are working on it!
2) The bugs. There were a ton of no-see-ums and we got eaten pretty bad. It made us want to go and explore other places or stay side some days because we didn’t want to get eaten. We even bought a UV bug catcher for inside our rig to help kill the bugs that were coming inside. I guess the bugs come out in different seasons, and the owners did recommend bringing bug spray, so that could help.
Even with those two things, this property was great to stay at. We made a ton of fun memories with the kids finding crabs and exploring the water, and we just had a really nice time here overall. Would highly recommend it!
Nathan has built a spectacular property—an absolute joy to spend time with family in nature but with just enough amenities to be supremely comfortable. I hope we’ll be able to go back again and again over the years ahead.
