Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods. In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. Our staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and we can’t guarantee it will be if you arrive before then. Parking, we work really hard to keep our property beautiful. Be sure to park in parking areas only.

Our one-room Kasitas is glamping at its finest. Each Kasita has a King Daybed, a Full loft (for tiny humans), and indoor and outdoor seating. There is an AC unit that keeps the unit chilly in the summer and warm in the winter, electrical outlets and lighting (including USB power outlets), a super cool fire pit, and an outdoor sink and barbecue grill (charcoal and firewood are not provided but are available at the office if needed). Linens are provided for the beds but you'll need to bring your own towels for the beach and showers. The shower facilities are a short walk away. Each cabin can sleep, two adults and two small children. The Kasitas are minimally equipped so bring anything you normally would when you go camping.

Whether you’re on a solo trip, looking for a way to truly introduce your family to the great outdoors, or have a larger group that you want to be together, we can accommodate groups of most sizes. We have 6 designated and private sites that are nestled in the woods surrounding a HUGE common area for activities and games. Our primitive camping area is right next to the water and has a private beach (exclusively for you) that you can enjoy. PLEASE NOTE: This area is designed for those comfortable with backpacking. It's a short, level walk to the area, but we don't recommend this for people who need access to their vehicle or bring everything (including the kitchen sink) when they tent camp.

Sweet little getaway!

My partner and I had a lovely spring break getaway here on Lake Texoma. We loved watching the sunset over the lake and walking along the coast in the mornings. It rained quite a bit our first two days in town, so we retreated into the nearby town of Denison where we explored bookstores, antique malls, and had the BEST pizza at Say When Brewing. We were grateful for the heater unit in our Kasita and later the AC when it started to warm up again. We had a wonderful time reading, playing board games, watching movies on the projector we brought, and enjoying each others company. Highly recommend!

It was so fun to go “camping” but have AC and a shower. It was a beautiful October weekend. Our dog loved playing on the sand and in the water and we caught a catfish! Bathrooms were very clean and the charcoal grill worked great. What a cute escape from DFW!

Camping with my Family

I would have preferred to be able to unload everything much closer to the campsite. I don’t understand why vehicles aren’t allowed to temporarily access the campsite for unloading and then move to the designated parking area. It seems like it would be more efficient and convenient for campers, especially when carrying heavy or bulky items. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathrooms is a crucial aspect. Regardless of how primitive the campsite may be, the facilities should be kept clean. We pay to use these amenities, and they should be maintained properly to ensure a comfortable experience for all campers.

Beautiful place

We really loved tent camping on Michael’s land. The place was nice, clean and quit. Check in was efficient. It was our first time camping and my kids really enjoy it. Definitely I will back.

Primitive Camping with Dogs

Primitive camping was absolutely beautiful here. I camped under a gorgeous pecan tree and had full beach access with my dogs. The fire pit was well maintained. The camp hosts were SO NICE and SO HELPFUL. I will be coming back here over & over again

Check in was easy and the area was clean. We could swim and enjoy the night sky. All in all, we were enjoying our stay while in the middle of the night faced a heavy rain and thunderstorms! Ended up staying in the car and pack our stuffs under the heavy rain! Could ended up a better way, it was a different experience, though!

It was extremely difficult to set up camp. It took us hours to set up camp with our 5 year old, we could have enjoyed the place a bit more. A gravel road to unload would be a great addition to this campsite, other than that it’s a beautiful location and the restrooms are very clean.

Great space to relax and get away. Beautiful view! Host and team were very communicative. I enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and convenience of the restrooms with showers. Made great use of the grill, deck, and campfire area. Will be back again!

Had a great time with the kiddos, great location, right in front of the lake. Check-in was easy and fast. Place is quiet and tent designated spaces are spacious and apart from each other. Had a great time fishing as well. Highly recommended.

Camping close to Lake

It was a fun weekend, Micheal's tent was beautiful. We loved the lake view from the tent. Restrooms was nice and clean, and felt safe all time. No loud noises or anything. I was glad the coffee maker was there for my coffee in the morning. Overall I would suggest this place 100%.

LOVED Paradise Cove

We totally LOVED Paradise Cove and will definitely make it our go to camping spot! The park exceeded our expectations and was amazed at all the wildlife we saw, deer, owls, geese, coyotes, vultures and big fish right at the shoreline. Everyone was so sweet and friendly and very accommodating which made our stay even better!
