Views of the water, nice sandy “beach” (w/adirondack chairs), level cement pad, power & water, Wi-Fi, warm outdoor enclosed shower, dock and gracious, friendly hosts is what you’ll find at Riverview. We had a fabulous stay despite the cool weather. Our hosts went above and beyond by not only including us on a boat ride, but also chased down (and captured) our canopy that “took sail” in a gust of wind. If Riverview is available and you’re looking for a quiet place to hand out…book it! You can thank us later :-)

We loved staying with Claudine at Captains Corner previously so when she posted Sea Horse we knew we had to book it! The lot is grassy and flat. Waterfront on a canal on one side and waterview of the Currituck Sound on the other. Good sized lot. So lots of room for those canopys, cornhole, etc. Husband enjoyed throwing the pole in the canal. He did catch a crab. We will definitely be back! Claudine is an amazing host. She is very accommodating and ALWAYS quick to reply. She is the reason I prefer hipcamp over campgrounds now.

This site is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Having full hookups was nice. It was close to numerous restaurants and area attractions and about 30 minutes from the beach. It was a little tight getting into the site, even with only a 23 ft travel trailer. Just be mindful of this if you have a larger rig.
