Purchased in 2019, these overgrown acres are now a federally registered Farm with the crop being Trees, and have a 10 year Woodland Stewardship Management Plan with the Ohio Dept of Natural Resources. I will be working hard over the years to bring this back to a healthy stand of mixed hardwoods, full of wildlife habitat, and native vegetation. 2024 saw the start of our EQIP contract which includes killing the non-native invasives, like Tree of Heaven, Autumn Olive, Honeysuckle, and more. 2025 was planting, staking, and tubing of 800 tree seedlings, including Black Walnut, Red Oak, Scarlet Oak, Sugar Maple, Persimmon, and Tulip Poplar. Learn more about this land: Enjoy approximately 10 wooded acres while being the only campers on site. Provided are a 4x8 lean-to, outhouse, fire ring, and a spool table. Hiking trails are cut throughout the woods, so feel free to explore. Just stay within the wire fence lines to avoid crossing onto neighboring private lands. The pond is off limits for liability reasons. This is a Federal and State managed Woodland, so please do no harm to any living tree or plant. Feel free to pick up any dead wood for use in the fire ring. (Cut Firewood also provided for free at campsite.) You do have to hike in and out between parking area and campsite. It's about 500 feet from parking to campsite. Mostly level, with one short incline. 10 minutes from The Wilds. 10 minutes from I-70. 15 minutes from I-77 and Cambridge.

The area has a large clearing for children to play. but the privacy you need to enjoy a nice evening around the campfire. There is a pond for fishing, and a nice deck that is avaliable to use. There is 25 acres here and you are welcome to use it for your enjoyment. The wildlife you may see include squirrels, deer and racoons fox etc. Located 2 miles from interstate 70 for easy access. NewConcord is just 3 1/2 miles down the road and is the home town of John Glenn you can visit his home place there, or pick up grocerys. While this is a working ranch with farm animals, our aim is to create a peaceful relaxing environment in order to unwind and enjoy the creation around us. Going in the pastures with horses while unaccompanied by the owners is prohibited; however, it can be arranged for you to meet and interact with the mustangs if interested. There are other farm animals including a sheep, a goat, pigs, donkeys, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, ducks and barn cats on the premises. Originally farmed for cattle and sheep with many orchards over the years our property is now mostly mature forest. Southeast Ohio, including our property is known for its hilly topography and microclimates. Hills range from 400 to 1,100 feet. Nearly 500 acres of land with an additional 200+ acres of Wayne National Forest adjacent to our farm and close proximity to other Wayne areas for outdoor activities. We have nearly 10 miles of available trails for hiking. Many activities can be done at or centered around our property. Such as excellent and challenging road biking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, kayaking and boating. We are two miles from the Little Muskingum River. A great river for kayak trips. The Wayne Kinderhook horse and hiking trail is roughly 5 miles from our location. Hike to the Irish Run Natural Land bridge trail also a short drive to the trailhead from our property. Ride your motorcycle up Rt. 26 a great Ohio byway for scenic driving. This is also a great home base for dual sport or adventure bike motorcycle riders to camp while adventuring along gravel roads through Appalachia. If motorcycles aren't your method of entertainment and travel. Bring your horse and ride on several of our trails. From steep ascents to long flat ridge lines, you will have lots of time to immerse yourself with nature while hiking. We're next to a section of the Wayne National Forest and a short drive to other similar Wayne activity sites. If you like to camp, but don't want the busy public park experience then you will enjoy the privacy of our camping location. We are also only about a 20-minute drive to downtown Marietta. Where you can find restaurants, bars, and many other fun activities.

We can serve you a farm-to-table breakfast with those fresh rainbow eggs and vegetables from our garden, or set up something really special with an outdoor dinner under string lights. As a retired hotel operator who traded the hotel business for farming, I love making sure guests feel welcome and taken care of. The Land is fantastic for little kids who love adventure, dogs who need room to run, and groups looking for privacy. The combination of safe exploration and hands-on farm experiences makes for memories that stick. You'll have a fire ring and level spot for your tent. Firewood is available. Sitting just a few miles away from the intersection with State Route 800 in Malaga, Ohio. The site offers 5 fully furnished cozy rustic rental cabins, a 4 bedroom deluxe cabin & 12 RV full hook-up lots. Individual parking is available at each lot. We took over in December 2018. We are constantly upgrading our property and completing projects to help improve our beautiful piece of land. It started with some simple property cleanup, clearing brush, fixing broken structures, and adding stone for instant transformations. Our goal is to offer our community a local place to visit and enjoy themselves, the great outdoors, fishing, pedal boating, and sitting around a campfire. My dog Teemo and I had a wonderful stay at Jim and Tracy’s A-frame cabin. They really thought of everything when putting this place together. When I arrived after dark, I wasn’t sure I was in the right spot and had spotty service, but Jim showed up within minutes and even started a fire for us while we settled in! The cabin had all the necessities for a cozy weekend — plenty of firewood included, a warm bathroom with a handwashing station, and even a guitar, which was such a nice touch to play by the fire. There are a couple of dollar stores nearby for snacks or produce, which was really convenient. Teemo and I were very comfortable and appreciated how thoughtful and responsive Jim was. We will definitely be back!

This was an awesome place to camp! Usually I don't see the host much, but this host was very friendly and accommodating. The site was about 0.25 miles from where our car parked and he brought all of our things there for us in his trailor. He even came back later to help us blow up our air mattress. The land itself was so secluded and really quite. There is a spring with fresh drinking water. You can see so many stars at night too!

10/10. Would give it 6 stars if I could. This place was the perfect escape. First, the location is amazing. Tucked away, quiet, and—the best part—absolutely zero cell service. My phone became a very expensive brick, and it was glorious. Highly recommend. The A-frame itself is pure cozy. It got a little chilly, but we fired up the wood-burning stove and that helped keep the cold away Also, can we talk about the bathroom? Clean. Close by. Not a terrifying spider-shed a half-mile away. We over-packed by a large amount. Don't be like us. Just bring your clothes, some food, and a good attitude. The host has already thought of everything else. We'll definitely be back, just with about 80% less stuff.

Wife and I had all we needed at the Nature Camper. Camper has water, hot water, stove, oven, fridge, microwave, and a Solo Firepit on the private deck. Lots of charm inside, more like a tiny house with completely new appliances and birch walls. Best of all you are on 500 private acres. We hiked part of the 10 miles of trails in total privacy. Site also has huge grassy tent area you can expand into with large fire-pit - comes with the camper so no neighbors. Owner’s family goes back to the original log cabin, that is still there off one of the trails. Owner has made his own private preserve, He was interesting, respectful and responsive. Camper pdf had all the details you need. Easy drive to Marietta Ohio River historic areas, shopping, dining, activities, and Wayne NF trails. No cell or WiFi but it comes in as you drive down the road. Unplug and enjoy!

Absolutely loved staying at the A frame cabin. My partner and I brought our two dogs. Had a great time having bonfires and checking out trails. They also left a pumpkin for us to carve which was so fun and nice of Jim and Tracy to do! Rented the diesel heater and it was well worth it! Jim came and gave us a visit and was very kind. Would definitely recommend checking this place out and hope to come back in the future! :)

Purchased in 2019, these overgrown acres are now a federally registered Farm with the crop being Trees, and have a 10 year Woodland Stewardship Management Plan with the Ohio Dept of Natural Resources. I will be working hard over the years to bring this back to a healthy stand of mixed hardwoods, full of wildlife habitat, and native vegetation. 2024 saw the start of our EQIP contract which includes killing the non-native invasives, like Tree of Heaven, Autumn Olive, Honeysuckle, and more. 2025 was planting, staking, and tubing of 800 tree seedlings, including Black Walnut, Red Oak, Scarlet Oak, Sugar Maple, Persimmon, and Tulip Poplar. Learn more about this land: Enjoy approximately 10 wooded acres while being the only campers on site. Provided are a 4x8 lean-to, outhouse, fire ring, and a spool table. Hiking trails are cut throughout the woods, so feel free to explore. Just stay within the wire fence lines to avoid crossing onto neighboring private lands. The pond is off limits for liability reasons. This is a Federal and State managed Woodland, so please do no harm to any living tree or plant. Feel free to pick up any dead wood for use in the fire ring. (Cut Firewood also provided for free at campsite.) You do have to hike in and out between parking area and campsite. It's about 500 feet from parking to campsite. Mostly level, with one short incline. 10 minutes from The Wilds. 10 minutes from I-70. 15 minutes from I-77 and Cambridge.

Welcome to Our family farm of 170 acre ! We are two sisters with our husbands and children want to share with you our peaceful farm. Surrounded by Hills, Creeks, Woods, and Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets! We are settled in the Hills of White Eyes Township. There is lots of history of Native Americans, and the first settlers in this area ( there is a great outdoor play based on a true story called Trumpet in the Land about 30 min from our location) On our farm you may still be able to find arrow heads in the creek bottoms! There is lots of wildlife that may wander through your camp site. The air is full of fresh Country smells. Some tame animals that you will see are Lowline cows ( miniature cows), Chickens, Pigs, Miniature Donkeys, Dogs, Cats. North of us 20 minutes you will find Sugarcreek ( the little Switzerland ) as well as south east of us Coshocton with canoeing and biking trails as well as Roscoe Village.

Located roughly 20 miles from Beaver Creek State Park, DLR Mustang Ranch is a 17-acre peaceful sanctuary for many wild and previously wild mustangs. The Ranch offers veteran and first responder mustang programs year-round. Please let us know if you are a veteran or first responder for a special rate. Accommodations include a small one-room cabin nestled on a little pond a stone's throw from the main house and veteran program area. The cabin has electricity, a microwave, small refrigerator, tv, futon, heating and cooling; however, it does not have plumbing. Nearby is an outhouse with electricity and a water pump fed from well water. There is a firepit for cooking and picnic tables available. There is also a flat space for tent camping right beside the cabin area. The outhouse and firepit are shared between the cabin and tent campers. If you prefer a more secluded experience, please book both sites. There is space for an RV in the driveway next to the woods with electric hookup and access to the outhouse, water pump, and firepit. While this is a working ranch with farm animals, our aim is to create a peaceful relaxing environment in order to unwind and enjoy the creation around us. Going in the pastures with horses while unaccompanied by the owners is prohibited; however, it can be arranged for you to meet and interact with the mustangs if interested. There are other farm animals including a sheep, a goat, pigs, donkeys, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, ducks and barn cats on the premises. If you want a quaint country escape complete with farm sounds, this is the spot for you!

Located in the rolling Appalachian hills of Southeast Ohio. This farm has been in our family since 1869 when our relatives settled here from Germany. Originally farmed for cattle and sheep with many orchards over the years our property is now mostly mature forest. Southeast Ohio, including our property is known for its hilly topography and microclimates. Hills range from 400 to 1,100 feet. Nearly 500 acres of land with an additional 200+ acres of Wayne National Forest adjacent to our farm and close proximity to other Wayne areas for outdoor activities. We have nearly 10 miles of available trails for hiking. Many activities can be done at or centered around our property. Such as excellent and challenging road biking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, kayaking and boating. We are two miles from the Little Muskingum River. A great river for kayak trips. The Wayne Kinderhook horse and hiking trail is roughly 5 miles from our location. Hike to the Irish Run Natural Land bridge trail also a short drive to the trailhead from our property. Ride your motorcycle up Rt. 26 a great Ohio byway for scenic driving. This is also a great home base for dual sport or adventure bike motorcycle riders to camp while adventuring along gravel roads through Appalachia. If motorcycles aren't your method of entertainment and travel. Bring your horse and ride on several of our trails. From steep ascents to long flat ridge lines, you will have lots of time to immerse yourself with nature while hiking. We're next to a section of the Wayne National Forest and a short drive to other similar Wayne activity sites. If you like to camp, but don't want the busy public park experience then you will enjoy the privacy of our camping location. We are also only about a 20-minute drive to downtown Marietta. Where you can find restaurants, bars, and many other fun activities.
