Cotton, tobacco, soybeans and peanuts grow in the fields surrounding our property. Take a nice walk through the woods around a pond to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Great location only 15 min off I-95. Far enough away from the city and roads to see the stars at night, close enough for easy access to all modern conveniences. Accessible by a paved road. A path is cut right through the property for ease to find your ideal camping location.
You can park your vehicle off the paved road or on the property itself. There is a creek a few hundred yards into the property that's not crossable by vehicle. A vehicle can pull onto the property via the cutout road but I wouldn’t pull an RV/vehicle with a trailer onto it.

We were so thankful that we found a spot at Red Farm. We had been on the road for 8 hours and really needed to land for the night. We stayed here due to its location within a few miles of our family/friends. Monte is a very friendly host and very welcoming. My husband was working remote through the day and we went to our friends’ home in the evenings. I spent daytime hours exploring the area recreation areas and parks, of which there are many. There is a lot of contracting type activity that goes on around the site during the day but it quiets down at night. We were also there Sunday-Sat and weren’t there over a weekend. If you are looking for seclusion and camping in the woods, this site would not be for you. If you are looking for a jumping off point for exploring the area, work, or visiting family/friends, this site works fine.

Monte and Tracy (and Woody of course) are wonderful hosts and you don’t leave there without establishing a long term friendship! 50amp, water and sewer hookups were all new and worked perfectly. They held an evening fire down at the wood pile where all the guests are welcome and encouraged to come, have a beer, relax and tell stories! Great nature walks to see beaver dams or other critters of the beautiful surrounding woodlands. Our dog Cali loved the nature walks! We will definitely come back to visit our new friends again!

Great full hookup RV location near Raleigh/Wendell, NC. Monty was awesome and very accommodating. Has a great, friendly dog named Woody. Sites are clean, and have full hook-ups, including 50Amp service. A little noise from the road right behind the sites, but it is not a major road, and is very quiet at night. Overall a fabulous location to stay if you are in the Raleigh area!

What we liked: The site was convenient to the lake, the store, and to several boat ramps. Was really fantastic to be able to use the neighborhood dock/boat slips and pool (thank you!). Mary was super responsive and accommodating. Loved having a fire pit and sewer hook-up. Location was quiet, and we were actually able to line up both RVs in a train to access the sewer connection and still be on the leveled gravel area of the site, which was a plus.
What could be better: no potable water. I assumed using a filter would help, but even with in-line filter, water was discolored coming into camper.
Suggestions: it was a bit difficult to find the entry at night, so a light there and another back near the hookups would be super helpful. The area around the gravel site was very muddy, and I had read on a former review there was plenty of room so believed I could turn around and ended up getting hung up in the mud. Was also conscious of not wanting to damage a septic field. Maybe providing a site map for check-in to help folks understand best way to back in and/or turnaround would help?
