Welcome to the King Bee Picnic Shelter at Brat Cat Farm! Enjoy a peaceful, private spot surrounded by nature, with a covered picnic shelter and plenty of room to relax, camp, and enjoy the forest! This peaceful primitive campsite centers around a rustic picnic shelter surrounded by hardwood and pine forest, open meadow, and plenty of natural shade. The site has several areas to enjoy: the picnic shelter provides a comfortable place to relax and gather, with space nearby for parking a van or other vehicle. There is also a designated fire-pit area behind the shelter, perfect for quiet evenings around the fire, stargazing, and enjoying the sounds of the woods. Beyond the fire-pit area, a trailhead provides access to a wooded walking trail where guests can explore the property and enjoy the natural surroundings. The property has a mix of mature hardwoods, pine trees, grassy areas, and small meadow-like spaces that give it a peaceful, rustic feel. There is also a gravel parking area for vehicles. Whether you want to spend the evening around the fire, sit beneath the trees, explore the property, or simply enjoy a quiet night outdoors, this is a simple, private-feeling place to slow down and enjoy nature. Photos show the campsite and examples of how the space can be used. Personal items and camping equipment are not included. Two chairs are provided and an extra large cot is available upon request.
