Michelle’s place was perfect for our nine day visit. She personally welcomed us as soon as we arrived and gave us a tour around the property. Our campsite worked well for our 35 foot Class C Jeep, and we were able to park our car trailer right across from it. The campground road/trail around the park provided a nice half mile loop for walking laps with our dog, and our family enjoyed visiting us there. We highly recommend staying there.

We had such a great stay!! We camped with our baby who is just discovering animals - and they sure had plenty for her to say hello to!! Horses, donkeys, mules, cows (and calves!), goats, pigs (and piglets!), chickens, ducks… it’s the full farm experience!! Marble, the goat (who thinks she’s a dog) was such a hoot and so much fun. They also have a little farm store where you can buy meat and eggs and lots of other stuff. We bought a couple of NY Strips and my mouth is still watering over how great they were. As a unique bonus, ask about the history of the land!! (Hints: really cool and old cemetery is there and the improvements they’ve done are astounding!)
Basic logistics: Easy pull through spot, big rig friendly, power was perfect, water pressure was just right, park was very quiet, only saw people coming and going. Gate is closed at night for safety (they’ll give you a code, you’re not trapped!)
Loved this stay so much. We will be back - with friends!

Parkton Place was AWESOME! We loved the location, so quiet and peaceful. The farm animals were fun and the hosts were great. You are able to walk around on the farm and go in with the animals. They have a pond that you can sit by or swim in. It was just all around a nice relaxing place to be. We backed right up to the goat pen and were concerned about smells, but it was fine. Our French bulldog even loved watching the animals from the rv and meeting them when possible. This is a place we definitely will stay at again when we are in the area.

What a perfect place to stay! We had car issues and hopped on Hipcamp quickly to see what we could find last minute, and Leslie's sweet spot popped up! Even with a VERY last minute (as in minutes!) notice - Leslie and her husband greeted us and helped us get everything set up for the evening!
The location is everything that is described...peaceful, lovely and wonderful safe place to stay. I only wish we had horses with us to ride!!

We really enjoyed our stay. There’s only one site with full hook-ups but we were able to book that on the app easily. It’s a nice wooded area and many of the sites have gravel to park on and it’s very clean and well-kept. It rained on our trip but we still managed to enjoy our stay. Cell signal isn’t great that far out, but good enough for emergencies and if you really need internet a hotspot could do the trick or they offer wi-fi add-ons. They were great hosts and I liked that they don’t have a formal check-in process. Just go straight to your site, which are all clearly marked and easy to find. Overall, wonderful trip!

My family of seven spent two wonderful days at Double LLC Farm, and it was exactly the kind of weekend I hoped to give my kids. From the moment we arrived, they were completely in love with the animals , petting them, exploring the farm, and enjoying the freedom to run and play in a peaceful, safe space. Even the camper neighbors were friendly, which made the whole environment feel warm and welcoming.
What truly made this stay special were Lisa and her husband. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met in North Carolina. Their hospitality, warmth, and professionalism made us feel like more than guests. People like them give you hope in humanity, and small businesses run with this much heart deserve all the support in the world.
My kids were sad when it was time to leave because they loved the animals, the quiet atmosphere, and especially the kindness of Lisa and her husband. The farm is peaceful, fun, and perfect for families who want to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other.
