Private Serene Camping

The site was lovely, but not as private as I’d hoped. I could see the neighbors, and hear everything from the neighboring campers on the other side of the barn. The property was beautiful. My dog really enjoyed walking around and seeing the donkeys and such. I never did locate the trail. If you pay extra for it, like I did, ask for specific directions for it.

Mimms’s land was exactly what we needed, very friendly and welcoming. The site was clean, plenty of firewood, porta potty was super clean. The fresh eggs were delicious! Dog friendly ~ Looking forward to coming back again.

This was the perfect weekend camping trip for my young children. My girls loved seeing the farm animals and picking persimmons. I highly recommend walking the trail around the property that takes you through a beautiful wetland ecosystem. It feels like you are in the Florida everglades. On our walk, we saw herons, egrets, and deer. The hosts are extremely friendly and hospitable, and made it feel like it was our own property. The campsite had everything we needed, complete with very clean port-a-jon restroom facilities. There are only 2 campsites on the property, which are separated by a barn/outbuilding, so you have plenty of privacy. The morning of our departure, I had a flat tire, and the owner was nice enough to bring tools and a second set of hands to help me make quick work of the job. I highly recommend this site for anyone looking for an enjoyable camping experience.

Loved camping here! Mimm’s was very communicative and a great host. The campground was nice and spacious, super easy to access and plenty of space to set up. We enjoyed walking around the farm and seeing the animals as well. The porta potty was also incredibly clean. Overall great experience!

Beautiful farm! Can’t believe this amazing place! Such a blessing to camp here. A lot of land, plenty of trail to walk and enjoy the crickets, pond, birds. Firepit with firewood provided. Water and electric, very clean porta jon. Such hospitable people, I will be back! Thank you for the restful stay!

My hubby and I (and Bruce, the dog) had the best time on Mimm's land! She is most accommodating and a fantastic, welcoming host. The site was fabulous - clean, quiet with beautiful views. We were fortunate to be camped on opening day of blueberry season, and enjoyed picking organic blueberries (which taste divine!).

Absolutely perfect place to camp and relax! The property is stunning and great views everywhere you go! Mimms is so nice and a great host, gave us recommendations for local eats and stores. Cannot wait to camp again! Highly recommend.

My son and I had a great time camping at Mimms farm. The campsite was very clean and had lots of space for our large tent. While we walked around the property, we were able to visit the neighbor's sheep. We definitely plan to visit again with the whole family.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to camp with lots of room to spread out and relax. Watching the horse, donkeys, chickens, labradors, and sheep was a pleasant experience. The owners are exceptional and accommodating, communication was consistent and polite. Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm with us, we had a great time!

Star gazing in an open tent

The place was easy to find, ready upon arrival and very clean with a generous pile of dry pine for the fire pit. All you could hear were frogs, crickets, an occasional raccoon chittering, and the crackle of the fire. Super quiet and peaceful retreat for a quick getaway.

We had such a lovely time staying here. The sky was so big, and the stargazing was unmatched. We enjoyed wandering around the property, petting the sweet donkeys and seeing all of the spring blooms. The host was also phenomenal! Very communicative, and we loved how generous they are with firewood! Such a pleasant stay.

We had the best time tent camping at their farm!!! Their property was so pretty and had a great trail with ponds. They had a bunch of chickens; two silky chickens along with their 7 labrador retrievers which were so sweet. Their neighbors had lots of sheep that you could feed tortillas to. They were so sweet and absolutely adorable. We had the best hosts, they were so friendly and made you feel right at home. The farm was also only 30 minutes away from Raven Rock State Park which we enjoyed a bunch during our stay.

Came in around 8 pm. Host met us to make sure all was fine. We set up camp on level ground with very clean porta-potty available. Made a fire, had some smores and slept well in quiet. Would stay again!

This stay was just perfect. We loved the mile walk around the property every day and enjoyed getting to see the orchards, sheep, and other wildlife! Hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating or personable
