We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago and enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. Here you can relax; watch nature; meet our chickens, goats, horse, cats, and dog; take guided tours to learn about the farm, animals, plants, archaeology, and history or learn to make mead; and purchase eggs and homegrown seasonal food and products. Listen to birdsong and watch clouds during the day, wander a path through our 5 acres of woods, see fireflies in the evening, and star watch at night. Nearby are hiking, horseback riding, historical sites, fishing, antiques, breweries, shooting, and more.
We are located in a rural area and have many different domesticated and wild animals so you may hear diverse animal noises and see or smell animal poop, although we try to keep things clean and tidy. Our neighbors have dogs, cattle, and chickens/roosters and occasionally shoot guns during daylight hours (one neighbor is a sporting club with skeet shooting and hunting dogs) but typically our farm is a quiet and peaceful place. We mow regularly and our rooster and chicken ladies wander far and wide eating bugs but, in the summer, they can't get every mosquito and tick so please plan accordingly for your own comfort.

This is a secluded, standalone, pull-through camping spot for all types of RVs. It is a nice, level, gravel lot off of a private gravel road. We have all utilities available: well water, 50A power, and a septic dump-station (please be mindful to not dump chemicals/cleaners). We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago and enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

We are a peaceful campsite located along the Greenway Trail 20 minutes from Downtown Raleigh and 10 minutes from Clayton. The farm offers private wooded meadows with direct access to the Greenway for walking and cycling. Campers can either rent a tent or bring their own, choosing between secluded spots, shaded areas, or open spaces. The campsite is accessible via a gravel farm track and is close to the Greenway, river, and main house for bathroom access.

The campground is just beautiful! Meticulously maintained, every detail cared for. You could tell this was a place where people take pride in creating space for rest. And the hosts? Truly wonderful. Warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive - the kind of people who make you feel like you belong the moment you arrive.
This was a perfect quiet space with beautiful bird sounds and the azaleas were blooming amazingly!

We loved camping at this peaceful and private hipcamp, complete with a stocked pond and plenty of room for the dogs to run off leash. The meadow is fenced on 3 sides which was a nice peace of mind having the dogs with us. My son and I fished the pond and we caught a bunch of small bass and sunfish/bluegill. It was great for my sons fishing confidence to catch something so easily! We brought our 14ft vintage Shasta (low ground clearance) and we had no trouble on the way in or turning around. We would definitely come back for quick easy trips close to the triangle!

Wonderful serene setting to camp. Private, peaceful and lovely. Nice campsite and fire pit overlooking the pond. Lots of frogs and birds serenading as the sun goes down and the stars come out. My pups exhausted themselves chasing dragonflies and butterflies. We all had an excellent time!

Lovely campsite! The amenities are very thoughtful; there was a hammock, citronella candles (and a lighter!), a picnic table, solar lights, a campfire ready to burn, and a camping bathroom set up. The location was peaceful and private behind the horse pasture. Mandy was very communicative, and the instructions on how to get to the site were clear and helpful. I loved waking up to see the horses grazing. Would definitely stay again--I'll have to come back and meet the animals!

The property itself is peaceful and well cared for, with a calm, quiet atmosphere that’s hard to find. My dog absolutely loved it too—plenty of space to roam and relax without feeling crowded or stressed.
One of the highlights was the trails on the property. They’re beautiful, easy to explore, and add a lot to the experience if you enjoy being outside and moving around a bit.
