Barn Loft
Melissa gave clear instructions on how to access the loft and it was the perfect, safe place to sleep that we were looking for. We arrived late and left early but in the time we were there enjoyed seeing all of the chickens, goats, and horses that were on the property.

Farm House Suite - Private Entrance
Wonderful Farmhouse Suite Getaway
We loved the farmhouse suite on Melissa’s land. What a beautiful farm with lambs, goats, and horses. We went Memorial Day weekend and there were hardly any mosquitos at all. Loved the campfire circle and farm fresh eggs! If you are looking for a place to get away from the noise and from people this is it! Melissa was a gracious host and respected our privacy. If you like just the quiet of the country and maybe some fishing and/or boating and/or swimming activities at Jordan lake and the local rivers and streams then this is a GREAT place to stay. We can’t recommend it higher. We will be back when the noise of Wilmington weighs on us again!

Farm House Suite - Private Entrance
The home was beautiful and well kept, peaceful and safe. The sitting room/kitchen area had a fridge, toaster oven and even a French press for coffee!
Everything worked as it should and the host, Melissa was very accommodating with recommendations for eating, hiking and things to do in the area. The property was set back and welcoming. The animals beautiful and relaxing to watch them grazing in the pasture.
The value was also great, I would stay again without a doubt.

Peaceful RV/Van site
Melissa was incredibly accommodating and her property was beautiful. Our kids ran straight to the huge play set upon arrival and loved visiting the animals, especially the horses! The camp fire pit felt more like a bonfire spot, and we couldn’t have appreciated it any more. We highly recommend staying at Cool Creek, and we hope to go back soon!

Nice Country Setting & Quiet!
Great, quiet setting. Melissa was a wonderful host, giving us the information we needed as well as privacy. Our grandkids loved the chickens they could see just outside our RV windows. They even had names for several :) Great kids play area with swings, jungle gym, fire pit, etc. I do wish we had better wireless coverage (Verizon) so we could research the area better but such is life in the country and definitely no fault of our host. Overall great weekend!

Relaxing Stay
Lovely rural farm complete with a sampling of friendly chickens, goats, sheep and horses. Mellisa welcomed us with a brief tour of our campsite area. Water and 50amp power available. You will need an adapter if you have 30 amp service.

I had to get a spot last minute and Melissa was incredibly accommodating. She showed me around and gave me all the info I needed. The farm is so cute and the amenities were very helpful. 100% would recommend Cool Creek Farm to anyone.

Peaceful Respite in Pittsboro
We stayed one night on way to the Outer Banks and we are glad we did! So much more fun and peaceful than staying in a hotel. Melissa was very helpful getting us situated. Our toddler had a blast seeing the chickens and the new baby lamb. Next time we travel this way, we would definitely stay again. Thanks Melissa!

Great time at Cool Creek Farm
The host was wonderful and a pleasure to talk to. She warmly greeted us and showed us around the land. Once that was done we were left to explore and enjoy the company of her animals. Our child liked the goats the best!

Memorable experience!
We had an amazing stay at Cook Creek Farm - Melissa was a gracious host who made everything extremely easy. The farm is beautiful, relaxing and extremely quiet - just what we needed after a long drive!
Our son had a blast watching the horses and seeing the chickens and goats, which was wonderful. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone traveling by RV looking for a unique and memorable experience. Thank you, Melissa!!!

A fun farm experience
First time staying at Cool Creek Farm. the host was friendly and highly responsive. This site has a lot going for it-- very secure, lots of farm animals around (which my kids really enjoyed), nice fire pit area, and it was extremely quiet. Water and electrical hookups worked great. Very minor issue is that there isn't much in the way of scenic beauty looking out from either side of where RV was parked. we didn't mind so much-- looking out from in front of the RV provides a nice view of the farm. Overall, great experience.

Quiet and off the beaten Path
Melissa was a great host. I was only there for a couple of nights to shelter from the bitter weather further up north. I was going back home after 6 weeks of snowbirding in Florida.
She made sure I had privacy and left me alone as I rested up before my dash back home to Columbus Ohio.

Cool Creek Farm
I originally booked two days at Cool Creek Farm with the idea to extend if I liked it. I LOVE it! The place is so peaceful, beautiful and quiet. Melissa is helpful, so friendly and I enjoy our interactions very much. It is a working farm, so there are goats, horses, and chickens and their sounds, and I love that. I have extended to have a total of 5 nights there and would highly recommend this place. Would definitely book again if my travels allow.

Cool Creek Farm
Great place to camp! This farm is full horses, goats, and chickens. There is a fire pit and chairs incase you're looking to build a bonfire. On property, there is also a swing set for the kids and an outhouse will be coming soon! Loved it here, highly recommend. Super friendly host, would definitely go back again.
