We enjoyed our camping trip on Williams farm. He was a very nice guy, and answered all our questions. It was very quiet, and nice to not have a bunch of other campers close by. We felt like we were truly out in nature. Some things to note, the creek side campsite is not available due to hurricane damage. We did eventually find the creek, but there are a lot of trees down. He made another campsite for us to use. Bring your bug spray as always when camping in the woods. There were a lot of ticks. Even after coming home, we still were finding them on us, in our stuff, and on our pets. We will have to plan better next time as far as that goes. We experienced 2 thunderstorms while being there which added to our adventure. Despite the thunderstorms, and the spot not being what we thought it was going to be, we had a great time as a family, and would recommend it to others.

Pheonix Meadows was the perfect setting for the peace and tranquility I needed this past week. I backed my truck camper into a a beautiful little nitch in the woods and settled in the the sounds of the forrest. The echoes of Barred owls in the evening and the exciting gobbles of the wild turkeys in the morning were welcoming sounds of the approaching spring..I was surprised by the bundle of wood provided by William and I enjoyed sitting by the fire each exening, so grateful for the privilege of being able to camp on this beautiful farm. I can't wait for the opportunity to return with my grandkids in the very near future.

A great night stargazing last night, complete with a shooting star. Absolutely no light pollution from the site. Very low noise except frogs in the distance and light breeze in the trees. We’ve added this one to our favorites list and plan to come back. Great host on a working farm!

I didn't stay. Never had location/directions sent to my email.
Had paid for the 1 night, but I got reimbursed. Only down side was 1 had to find another place to stay.
Spend almost 1.5 hours trying to contact host. So I went to my backup plan, which was Freedom Family CG, cross hills SC. 1930 when I got to cross hills, SC., the owner meet me and all was good. After I explained why I was trying to get a site with such short notice she let me stay for Free 🆓.

Creek side campsite
We stayed in our rooftop tent on the creek site. If you're looking for a more secluded, private, and quiet camping area, this is the place for you! We enjoyed listening to the creek at night, as well as the barred owls, chuck-wills-widow, coot, and different types of songbirds. The area around our campsite was beautiful, and the fireflies gave us a magical show throughout the night! We also enjoyed roasting hot dogs and smores in the fire pit. We will definitely be back!

This camp was magical! We pulled a pop up camper with our mini van and made it through the farm and woods to the camp. My kids played in the creek all day and after they went to bed I listened to the creek babble and bull frogs sing while thousands of fireflies blinked in the woods. It's a pretty primitive site, but I'd go back over and over.

This is a great place to stay if you want to get away from it all. This camp site is what most consider “primitive” but there was ample room to camp, a creek with running water, room to hike, and a fire pit. We had a great time as a group and intend to come back soon!

This is a fantastic spot for a disconnected getaway. The stream provided a relaxing vibe.
Only suggestion I would make is to add a metal fire ring and maybe two or three signs to help with the directions.
An awesome experience. I’ll definitely be back extremely soon.

Will was very responsive and friendly. The location was beautiful and as advertised. It was perfect for my one-night stopover - and a more prepared person (with firewood and charcoal) could've fared even better!

Great time tent camping with my dogs. My site was next to a stream which added to the relaxation. Very secluded, didn’t have to worry about neighbors like you would at a state park.
