Ride Long Acres is a 32 acre horse farm that was originally part of my family’s 180 acre homestead. When I moved away years ago, I never expected to return. When we purchased this land in 2020 none of it was being utilized. We are busy restoring it to its former glory and making many improvements, clearing overgrown brush and footpaths, fencing horse pastures, adding onsite riding trails and an outdoor arena, planting a large organic garden, raising chickens, and soon we will be keeping bees and collecting honey! We are working to create a simpler more self-sufficient life that is centered around our passion for nature, being outdoors, and enjoying God's beautiful creations. We invite you to come stay with us and disconnect from daily grind.

Long Acres at Clover Creek

My daughter and I spent the night with our dog at Lucy’s farm. The directions were easy to follow and check in was a breeze. Lucy’s husband was helping out as she is recovering and he was extremely helpful. Assisted with some kindling and even loaned us a flame. The space is next to a creek and private but Lucy was always quick to respond to texts. Would gladly come back and hopefully get to ride next time. Get well soon!!

Star Gazer Bell Tent Glamping

The host couple were very nice and made themselves available if/when needed. Lucy shared suggestions for hiking in the area that ended up being a great day for us. Coffee in the morning was very good. If bathing in a creek isnt your thing I recommend you bring a camping portable shower bag to set up. The tent accommodations were comfortable. Sitting by the dire with the sounds if the creek going by was very peaceful.

Great little campsite. Stayed over for a night before going bikepacking around Raystown lake for a weekend. Lucy was super helpful and so was her husband.

Long Acres at Clover Creek

Wonderful setting in a field in view of mountains and horses. The babbling creek is an easy walk down a path through woods. There is a potapoddy and fire rings at the site. Just over an easy 4 mile bike ride to Lowell bike trail. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. I hope to be back
