The Point at Kamp Kress
Great last minute find to camp
My bf and I got to the campsite late due to lots of things going on, but when we got to the campsite we were shocked at the size of the spot. It was larger then I expected and we brought a brand new large tent to try out. Only downfall for others not used to the sound. But the NS Pittsburgh Line which is a main line between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh was busy all night. So I'd wake up to some of the diesel engines roaring through the valley. I didnt mind it, but if you are a lite sleeper I dont think this is a spot for you. In the morning we went to the river to relax before heading out for that days adventures. I like the view along the Juniata River, esp when a train went by haha. Its a nice spot along the river to camp and Id like to come back someday.
