Cedar Glen

A fairly secluded and very pretty piece of land just outside of Port Townsend with lots of amenities and very easy access to the Larry Scott section of the Olympic Discovery trail, making an easy walk or ride to everything Port Townsend has to offer. Choose from different camping options, including a pad for small RVs with available power and water, to a drive up site with room for a couple of tents, to a private walk/bike in site in the woods. There is a central area with firepit and grate, gas BBQ, two burner gas cooker, large table, sink, picnic table and benches/chairs. For hygeine there is a large regularly serviced porta potty and tankless water heater with shower. Accomodations can be made for people traveling light, such as providing dishes, firewood, a tent, hammock and possibly other amenities and services. This is a great base camp for exploring Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula.

This beautiful land is a magical, cultivated ecosystem, a patchwork quilt of diverse gardens, flowing fields, and sacred woodlands all stitched together with the threads of creeks and paths. This is a place for connection, education, and sanctuary. There are many ways to connect and explore this land; wander through the rose, herb, and vegetable gardens, sit and meditate in the Weavers Grove, pick herbs and greens to add to your evening meal, or sit with your knitting and watch the sheep. Whether you come to escape or to connect, you will find it here. NOTE: This is a working farm we have animals, dirt, sticks, bugs, and poop, and lots of opportunities to "connect" with Nature. All of our amenities are shared spaces, designed to foster community. You will find good signs with clear communication here. All of our lodgings are off-grid with no electricity or running water. Water, electricity, and wifi are available in the kitchen, garden, cafe, and lounge areas. Please bring battery-operated lights, bedding, and a pillow, unless otherwise noted. We have camping, glamping, and cabins available throughout the summer months. We also offer tours of the animals and gardens. There is a shower house, bathhouse, summer kitchen, library, cafe, fiber studio, yarn shop, and lots of outdoor seating. Additionally, we have safe potable water, a portable toilet, and two charcoal/wood barbeques available for your use on the patio. Come, walk in the gardens, smell the roses, put your feet in the creek, then sit by the fire and watch the stars come out. Compass Rose Farms is the host and mother to many businesses and projects. Our gardens provide flowers, food, medicine, and the magic for weddings and celebrations. The Weavers Grove holds our spiritual center and sanctuary, a place to wander and connect to land and spirit. Cook Bluff

5 sites 路 RVs, Tents1 acre 路 Port Townsend, WA
We are right on the bluff here! We enjoy the view of The San Juan and Canadian Islands, listening to the waves crashing, watching the wildlife roaming or swimming by, and smelling the sea air. In the dry season you can park or set up a tent at the end of the property right near the lookout. The wet season brings singing frogs and lots of soft, mushy ground, too wet to drive on, so you will park on higher ground closer to the house and driveway. There is water access from the spigot attached to the garage by the teal door. A composting toilet can be found around the corner from the spigot near big apple tree by the house. Privacy can be found by pulling the curtains across the opening of the space. Saw dust and toilet paper are next to the toilet. Be sure to cover anything you leave in the bucket with a handful or two of sawdust! There is one house on the property surrounded with a garden to the south, neighbors to the west, the Salish Sea and a view of Mt. Baker to the North, and a lookout trail to the east with beach access a mile away (no beach access from the site), and Fort Worden State Park two miles down the road. Across the road to the south is a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a second growth forest with local trails for nice walks or mountain biking. The food coop is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride.

Eagle's Loft on the Dungeness

We bought this property 8 yrs ago so we could keep our horses on our own property. The house used to be a barn for milk cows, so this was a working farm. The family before use raised their 5 children here and originally built the treehouse. We decided to revive the worn out treehouse and share its life and beauty with other families.
