The 80-acre property is carved out of a Norway pine plantation. Sites are approximately 10,000 square ft. in size with about 50 ft. of trees between each site for semi-privacy. We have tried to maintain a balance of nature while making the sites as RV friendly as possible. Although the property is located in the country, it is located along a state highway for easy access and there are three towns and many amenities and recreational venues within 15 minutes drive. Currently no hook-ups, but there is a yard hydrant and dump station. There are also portable restrooms on site.

A forest of mixed hardwoods and conifers cover the area, housing an abundance of wildlife including deer, bald eagles, porcupines, rabbits, chipmunks and many others. Wild blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries grow seasonally on the forest floor. The tall bluff along the river allows beautiful views of the river. What a gem. It is an RV camp but has terrific walking trails. The showers were so clean. There’s a seating area to enjoy. Very comfortable place.

Allen was a great host and met us pretty late to lead us to the site. We really appreciated it because the property is HUGE and we never would have found it without his help.
The site was tucked back in the woods- very quiet and private. The land was a bit lumpy, which is fine for RVs, but we made the choice to tent camp. We were still able to find a good patch to set up our tent and really enjoyed the stargazing and sounds of nature. There was firewood available, but I would recommend bringing your own. There had been a lot of rain that week and the firewood is not protected from the elements. Allen offered to bring us some more, which was very kind, but I would at least have some ready for your first night.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and absolutely LOVED the property! Plenty of space, very private and an amazing view. The (mini) beach is perfect and also very private. Beautiful property. Each site is tucked in the trees, with space between the neighboring sites. Suitable for tent camping or RVs. We had a van, boat & tent. Drinking water spouts and toilets throughout the property were nice. Having access to showers was great! The place is clean and the host was very friendly. They allowed us to change sites after we got there. Says firewood included, but it’s whatever you collect from the woods or else you have to purchase logs.

Perfect for boondocking! There is water at the rv dump as well as clean portables dotted throughout the acreage. Importantly, there is plenty of space for a relatively private stay.
We were in site 101 and could hear the road quite clearly but didn’t mind, you may want to choose a deeper site.
The tree plantation was perfect for a hammock!

This is a place that is perfect for families. We enjoyed reading quietly in our RV site and listening to the kids pal around and have the time of their lives. The manager was very friendly and really accommodating when we had to stay part of a day longer because our camper awning got stuck in the open position. The facilities including bathrooms are clean and well kept. And it's free to use the kayaks and canoe. They also have fishing boats for rent.

I stopped for just a night while on a camping/road trip. It was a really nice place. Pretty clean (there were a ton of cig butts on the ground at my campsite, but it didn’t bother me). The trails were nice. I only walked a bit but it was really pretty. The toilet was really clean and well kept. It looked like a fun place to spend a few days.
