Off-grid camping on private property. Two lakeside sites and two additional campsites in a beautiful park setting. The property is located on the Paul Bunyan State Trail. Walking distance to a restaurant/bar, with groceries and a gas station ½ mile away. There is also a public boat landing available 1/2 mile away. Enjoy beautiful scenery and a peaceful ambiance. The fall colors are stunning this year! Each site has a private fire pit. Four kayaks are available for campers to use. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are shared among the four campsites. Please limit kayak use to 2 hours if other campers are waiting. A porta-potty is available on-site for campers. Please note: There is no electricity or water available. Enough firewood for one fire is included. Additional firewood is available for purchase $8 per bundle. We also offer overnight car camping. There are two spots located on private property. No fire pit. Perfect for secured overnight parking. $20 per night.

Off Grid Campsite on Paul Bunyan State Trail
Had a great stay! Free kayaks were such a nice perk. Lake is nice and quiet. Fire pit was ready to start. Clean porta potty. Bike trail only steps away. Store and restaurant/bar walking distance. I will return and stay again.

Off Grid Campsite on Paul Bunyan State Trail
This is the perfect relaxing vacation spot! I was able to get off the bike trail and go straight here to stay for a rest with the easy access to a kayak and large lake. It’s very quiet and I saw lots of wildlife like geese, deer, and squirrels. I could hear the loons calling and saw a few while kayaking as well. With low light pollution in this area I saw many stars on a clear night. The fire pit was very convenient along with being able to walk to the convenient grocery store just down the road. The site was very clean and spacious and I will definitely go again!
