The Dora Lake Outpost, “The DLO” 🌲 Welcome to Our Little Slice of Northern Minnesota If you’re looking to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods, we’d love to host you. Our campsite is located on a peaceful point overlooking the lake, offering beautiful sunrises, colorful sunsets, and plenty of opportunities to relax. Spend your days fishing, paddling, exploring nearby ATV trails, or simply enjoying a campfire while listening to the loons. Keep an eye out for our resident turtles, muskrats, deer, eagles, and other local wildlife. This is a bring-your-own camping site. Whether you’re arriving with a tent, camper, or RV, you’ll have plenty of room to settle in and enjoy nature. Nearby Attractions Our campsite makes a great home base for exploring northern Minnesota, including: Little American Falls The Lost Forty Big Bog State Recreation Area Scenic State Park Edge of the Wilderness Scenic Byway Excellent fishing lakes and forest roads to explore Safety & Privacy For everyone’s safety, security cameras are located on the property and monitor driveway and exterior entrance areas only. Cameras do not face the campsite or any areas where guests can reasonably expect privacy. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is available for guests. A Few Friendly Notes Please respect quiet hours so everyone can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Pack out what you pack in or use the provided trash containers. Fires should always be attended and fully extinguished before leaving or going to bed. Please respect the wildlife by observing from a distance and never feeding the animals. Whether you’re here to relax, explore, fish, ride, or simply disconnect for a while, we hope you leave feeling refreshed. Basecamp

My pup and I loved camping at DLO! Super clean campsite with a ton of amenities! A couple of my favorites, fridge/freezer, paddle board and kayak, hand pump well, and impressive amount of free firewood. The view was beautiful! We watched the sun set and rise both days! The outhouse is adorable and has so many things to look at you almost forget why you sat down in the first place. My pup absolutely adored the direct access to the water! We had a lovely stay and hope to come back!
