Once this property was part of a large chicken farm, the fields were hayed and still are. There are 12 sites, this indicates 15- Site 1, 5 and 12 are also insta book (giving 15) so please check availability before insta booking. The meadow filled with water after logging occurred about 70 years ago creating the swamp. Recently, a small farm has been built here that includes alpacas, a llama, ducks, chickens, kitties and a rescue dog Beautiful farmland with livestock, including alpacas! An open field, forest, walking trails and a peaceful swamp with wildlife is all at your disposal while you are here at Someday Farm! We have a total of 12 sites for your enjoyment, there are a few sites here (Site 1, 5 and Site 12) that allow campers and tow behinds. Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! It will be complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :) Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase. Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system. Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you? Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering 30 places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away. Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. Feel free to msg me or call for questions and information. Checkout our onsite shop (Someday Farm Market) at the barn for our own handmade/homemade items and some Alpaca products also for sale May - Nov. Also, be sure to check out all the extras (you have to review the extras to purchase firewood) offered here while you are booking your stay! There is firewood in each site for your arrival, if you use it, you pay the $8.00, if you order it online, no worries it's there for you already, and extra can be bought and delivered during your stay.

Pitch your tent along the wood road or into the trees, there are currently 11 sites to choose from, Sites 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 are ready - working on the 11th for a total of 12 to be completed soon! Sites are spaced so there is privacy for each site and some nestled into the woods. There is a trail through the field from the barway by site 12, and you can walk along the edge of the beaver bog and checkout the swamp and wildlife. Because this is a farm...There are also farm animals on the property that can be seen by request. Check out the Extras for Coffee time with them! Also, a small farm store onsite, in the barn by request and soon the new Welcome Center for your convenience, this is an honor system. There are two Conservation Forests on Pickard Road (Hutchins Forest and 80 acres of conservation land just across the road) for hiking close by along with a Bison farm just around the corner. Tucked in the wood road to the swamp and nestled in the spruces right off the edge of the field. Surprisingly secluded. You must park parallel to the site off the drive and walk in- hardly a walk at all.

A walk-in site, quiet and secluded. It's a short walk thru a nice piece of roadway heading towards the swamp. You must walk into this site, approx 50 - 75 feet. Park near roadway. This is a smaller yet cozy and more private spot.

Great stay on beautiful land!

This a great site, close to bathroom (very clean!) and the main field. It was not a secluded site, both sites can be seen on each side, but very quiet. Wood was for sale, as well as other basic items if needed. She was present and attentive. I didnt have the chance to see the alpacas. Thank you!

We loved our campsite, tucked in a little grove off the dirt path, with lots of kindling to collect around us for the fire. We arrived after dark, so all the beautiful sights of Barbie’s land struck us in the morning. The swamp with beaver huts, visiting with alpacas and meeting Barbie’s super friendly cat were some of our highlights. We’d love to come back again.

Fantastic and beautiful setting with clean and useful structures including Porto potties and a “welcome shed”. The site was perfect and very comfortable for me and my dog and could have fit more. Great star gazing. I never quite figured out the hiking trail and had off and on reception on site, but I know that Barbie, the host, was responsive—so if you’re interested in this probably good to message in advance. But lots of space for me to take my dog on a long line through a field and around the common areas.

Nice Quiet Retreat- with Alpacas!

This was a great spot and Barbie is so friendly and welcoming! Camp spots are well spaced and there’s a nice common area in the main field. Quiet, well kept and relaxing, host greeted us at our site. Alpacas were fun to visit and host let us go in and hang with them in their pen! Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a beautiful area and we enjoyed relaxing here. There's lots of games to play and we loved being able to buy farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Site 7 was a bit sloped, so I only recommend it if you have a small tent or a way to level your trailer. We had a large 6 person tent, so it didn't work well for us. Luckily, it was a quite weekend so Barbie was flexible and let us move to site 9, which was much flatter. It wasn't a far walk from the road at all and felt very private! I would definitely stay at site 9 again.

Quiet and peaceful

Such amazing property. So quiet and peaceful. We stayed at site 1 and it was perfect for our 23’ tow behind camper. Nice and flat. A picnic table and fire pit. Barbie has the amenities of outhouses and a common area with bbq grills and such. All the sites were spread out with some privacy. We only stayed for one night but we would’ve stayed longer if we could’ve. Thanks for sharing your space for others to enjoy!

Barbies land was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend at Highland Bike Park. Had a peaceful night of sleep to the sound of frogs and Barred Owls. Accommodations were perfect for tent camping, and the porta potties were clean and stocked. Would definitely recommend for anyone coming to the area!

This was the best HipCamp experience I've ever had! Barbie organized everything exceptionally well - the sites are cozy, well-equipped, and provide plenty of privacy. Everything was incredibly clean, and Barbie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Lovely site! Super welcoming, beautiful area, and easily walked. Barbie was an extremely nice host, the site itself was really peaceful, and everyone there was great. We even had an orange cat visit our site a few times while we were hanging around, he was adorable and so sweet. Wish we could have stayed longer before leaving and hopefully will be able to go back soon!

Great place!!

We loved our stay at Someday Farm! The land is beautiful, away from noise, and offers both open field and woodsy spaces. Barbie was very timely with answering messages and provided ample info prior to getting there. She also met us to say hello and made sure we had everything we needed. She has a Welcome Shed with all sorts of things you might need or want, as well as areas for games, grills, recycling, and farm animals to say hi to. We purchased the firewood bundle when booking and it was at our site when we got there; it was more than enough wood! The portapotties are taken care of and spread out through the sites. We had an amazing view of the night sky, walked over to the swamp area to try to see some beavers, and overall it was exactly what we needed.
