Site 1 - Mountain View Farm
This was our first experience with Hipcamp. We ran into an issue with our booking and, due to Hipcamp not having any easily accessible live support for campers or owners, it almost turned into a nightmare.
Fortunately, they *do* allow communication with the owner and Elizabeth was able to get in touch with me directly and resolve Hipcamp's issue.
On top of the wonderful assistance on her part, this was a beautiful place to stay. We typically stay indoors and rest, but the farm was lovely so we did venture outside. We happened to be out when one the horses' owners was there and she was more than friendly, even letting us feed some treats and take a short walk with her (young, hence the walk) horse.
One of the things that immediately stood out from the experience was the grass. We've been traveling and have gotten used to campgrounds. We were on someone's personal property and were able to walk on some soft grass. It doesn't seem like much, but it was one of those small things that added to the experience.
Hipcamp *did* reach out to us and offered some credit, so we will try them again. And if our stay somewhere else is half as pleasant as it was here, I'll be pleased. Don't hesitate to make a reservation here!

Nice quiet place. Offered water and electricity. Perfect as an overnight stay on our travels.
This site is peaceful and serine! You will feel right at home with Liz as your host . Every morning you will wake up to beautiful pastures and a friendly knicker form her horse , and every evening you will bask under the vast starry sky above . Truly breathtaking.
I can’t say enough good things you should definitely check it out for yourself . The local food scene is great and all your convinces are with in a ten minute drive .
Come have the New England Summer you have always dreamed of !
