This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose. Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. Secluded in the wilderness, Boulder Brook Hipcamp has private tent sites right next to a babbling brook. The access road is a nice gravel .6 mile long road that is not maintained in the Winter. There is firewood for sale via Venmo right in the parking area, $6 per bundle. There is also a nice outhouse. There are 4 first come, first serve sites with tent platforms and fire pits. There is quick access to the Rockingham Recreational Trail, which is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and exploring. There is also a great swimming hole nearby called Chivers Pond. The campsites are located on the back corner of the Chivers Farm property and seasonal farm goods will be available for campers to purchase coming in 2025.

We have a total of 12 sites for your enjoyment, there are a few sites here (Site 1, 5 and Site 12) that allow campers and tow behinds. Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :) Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase. Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system. Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you? Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away. Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. Feel free to msg me or call for questions and information. Checkout our onsite shop (Someday Farm Market) at the barn for our own handmade/homemade items and some Alpaca products also for sale May - Nov. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include… Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

A unique glamping getaway nestled on a mountainside, 4 miles from Evans Notch, in Chatham, NH. We have three 10x12 glamping tents tucked away in the forest on 6 acres, behind our home with glimpses of the surrounding mountains through the trees. Private and tranquil- each tent has a queen sized bed with flannel sheets, a light comforter, and a lantern. The front porch has two Adirondack chairs looking out over the forest. Each campsite has a fire pit, picnic table, and a cabinet filled with basic cook wear, plates and cups, a French press, kettle, and utensils for making meals over a campfire. Our double-header outhouse is clean and beautiful- a guest favorite! There is a short 1/8 mile walk through the woods to the camp- we provide garden wagons to tote your gear. Follow the camp path to our wooded sanctuary, sleep among the trees, marvel at the stars, tell tall tales around the fire, and unwind! This was a last minute booking for us and it was absolutely magical! We stayed at site 3 The ridge, It was gorgeous, Eben was so welcoming and gave us clear instructions on everything including a map that shows all the perfectly marked trails along the mountain. Our site has everything you could think of and more than we knew! Fresh water, cooking untensils, a platform for our tent, chairs etc Wood and such a well maintained property it was amazing! Highly reccomend! The view also is unbelievable!!!!

We had a great time staying on the top of the Ridge at campsite 3! Eben was very accommodating right from the start even though we were running late, he explained the whole layout and what to expect, gave us an easy guide map. The $60 for the ride for your stuff up is worth it!! Also the eggs or fresh chicken you can get from the farm next door is such a plus! The fresh eggs were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the hike up and down. It was definitely rocky, but we hike a lot, and didn't find it difficult, but it is quite steep. The site at the top is absolutely beautiful! The hammocks are such a great addition. My daughter and I read in them one day, and just listened to the grasshoppers. The campsite is equipped with so many useful items, water jugs, pan, grill tools, ect. Everything to cook over the fire. No bathrooms at the campsite, but CLEANEST porta potty at the base of the camp. Also a shower(looked wonderful though we didnt utilize). My family and I were there celebrating my 40th, so it was such a wonderful surprise to see fireworks off in the distance . The sunsets and sunrises, are amazing. So many shooting stars! There are chairs in a tote under the deck, a little bench near the fire and a picnic table, so plenty of seating. Another surprise was all the amazing rocks. If you like looking at beautiful sparkly mica rocks then you will be in heaven! Its one of the most peaceful places we've been in awhile. We already cant wait to go back!

This place is wonderful and so peaceful. The tent is wonderful, super comfortable, and clean. The bedding was soft and warm. And the view was just lovely--especially if you are into star gazing. The yard for each tent is well equipped, well maintained, lots of places to sit and eat. I absolutely loved it. And the bathrooms are immaculate and insanely cute. Look at the pics! There are *plants and books* in there. And Lori the host is lovely too. After ten years of camping in the Whites, I've finally found my spot. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Eden's has great set up. The tent platform, tables and sets are handmade and new. The firepit had kindling in it set up. Fire starter is provided and other items that help main the fire. There is a BBQ grill too. The hike to the site is stem, but if you only bring what you need you can manage it.

Absolutely amazing! We loved the water and our dogs did, too! Gorgeous views, spacious sites, thoughtful touches (broom to sweep platform before putting tent down, rake to move gravel/sand, privacy netting between sites, solar string lights!!!!), and stellar host. Overall amazing, super happy and will be coming back! We had the place to ourselves the first night so we peaked at the other sites and will def be trying those out! This was our first Hipcamp (experienced campers; typically do campgrounds and state parks) after deciding we’d prefer more privacy, a more hands-off experience (no golf carts driving by every hour with camp employees), and explore better/new views. We couldn’t have had a better experience! My partner was nervous about not staying at a campground and he has been converted! The new toilet was also super clean and a short walk. So no odors at all and very well maintained. Dumpster was a nice touch! There’s also cell phone service and even 5G (we have tmobile) which was not expected but welcome!
