Loved having access to the river (just be mindful that getting down to the water requires using a very steep set of stairs).
The area was quiet and felt private. Overall, really nice spot.
This place was absolutely magical! We booked it for a girls’ trip to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. The river was the perfect temperature and quickly became our favorite spot to spend the day. You can tell the hosts put so much thought into every detail, with all the little things you might need already there and ready for guests.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the privacy was unmatched. It truly felt like our own little slice of paradise. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, this is it. We made amazing memories here and are already talking about our next trip back. I can’t recommend this place enough!
It was an amazing experience. Completely private and the host was very responsive and helpful to anything needed. The site has more than you could want for having no electricity and purely is a glamping experience. I can’t want to return. 100% recommend!!
Loved the secluded spot and all the amenities. Well maintained and stocked!! Would love to visit again.

Our camping experience was great! Exactly what we hoped for and more!
Denise’s campsite is a true gem! Everything about the experience was too notch. The site was very clean and prepared when we got there. In fact, it’s so well-done that you quickly forget the site is at the back of someone’s property. The cabin was perfect. Large enough for the four of us to hang when it rained and just chill. The beds were comfortable. We all just brought sleeping bags and used them on the bed. The site itself was great. Plenty of wood, chairs, and cookware. The shower warms up quickly and is just what you need to keep fresh. Highly recommend this spot. It was the perfect spot for our annual guy’s weekend.

What a lovely site! The cabin is beautifully set up and offers many amenities we hadn't been expecting (pillows, bug spray, matches, dry kindling, etc.). The inflatable raft pictured also lives on-site. There are two full-size beds plus cots.
Drive all the way down to the campsite. It's a dirt road but easily navigable, even by our beat-up old Prius.
For those curious about the river: we were there in a dry season where the water level was even with the bottom step of the stairs (which are pretty steep, almost more like a ladder). The deepest the water got was mid-chest on my 5'9" frame, and there were plenty of shallower spots. The bottom is mostly a very soft sand. It was cool and refreshing but not cold. Current was strong enough to be noticeable--my 8-year-old could only sort of swim against it--but it felt very safe. The widest the river got was maybe 40 feet across. Very buggy but otherwise delightful. I can only imagine how relaxing it would be to go without children.
What a gem of a site! So thoughtfully put together with a great blend of camping feel with great amenities, including a high quality indoor space, a screened in pop-up with table, great quality outhouse, outdoor shower and sink, etc. We were stocked with wood, bug torches, a great propane grill (bring your camping pans!) and even a great two-person inflatable floatie for the water. The privacy was awesome, though Denise was just a quick text away. The nearby town is precious, with a great coffee shop and breakfast/lunch joint.

This is an excellent site with many nice amenities. We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the river, sitting by a campfire and a few nice nature walks just a short drive down the road.
The Cabin is appointed very nicely with comfortable beds and kept the bugs at bay. Denise was wonderful and very responsive, thank you again!

Denise's cabin was just what we needed after camping in Acadia NP. Cabin was clean and outdoor shower had nice hot water. Outhouse and potable water were close to cabin. We only stayed one night so didn't need any of the extras - gazebos, grill, fire pit, etc. Thanks Denise.

I loved staying at Denise’s cabin. The directions and level of communication were great. Cabin was nice and clean. It was difficult to leave and I can’t wait to say there again. Great place for please and quiet.
What an amazing spot right on the river. Denise is an amazing host and has the site very well organized and super clean. We enjoyed fishing the river and exploring other lakes in the area. We will be back for sure as it’s a great quiet area in NH yet close to Concord. You will not be disappointed in picking this spot!
Amazing weekend getaway to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the space with 2 toddlers and 2 german shepherds. The cabin and land were very clean. Truly felt like camping, just didnt have to setup a tent. The running water was a nice touch to wash dishes. We had a question while at the site and Denise was very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time in Denise’s space! The cabin was clean and cozy. The campsite was wonderful and serene. Many supplies including cookware, citronella candles, and firewood were available. The area had some fun walking trails and the river was lovely. Parking was simple and the road to the camp was clear. We loved every moment of our stay and seeing a glimpse of the stars in the evening! Our dogs had a great time exploring the surrounding woods with us. We hope to book another getaway again soon!
What a great spot! It’s private, quiet and the river is perfect. We had kids and they had so much fun fishing and looking for frogs. The cabin was clean and comfortable and lots of little extras like bug spray, candles and wet wipes. Wood, matches, kindling and fire ring rounded out the evening! The site has an amazing stove and the sink and shower were very handy. Perfect little getaway that’s close and easy to get to!!

The cabin was clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. It was great having the sink, shower, trash, campy stove, and toilet all close by. We appreciated the screened in tent, which held up to the rain during our stay. The campsite was quiet, private, and peaceful. The stairs were a bit steep, but we loved having access to the river too. Our dogs and children enjoyed the space too. Overall we have a very nice stay.

Beautiful spot for complete decompressing and connecting to nature.
This was the most beautiful weekend away from the city. The cabin was clean and stocked with goodies (bug spray, candles, paper towels, cleaning supplies) the area was remote and private. The river was clear and clean and refreshing. The zip up tent was a life changer, it’s where we spent most of our time playing cards. There’s a staircase with a rope for access to the river and a small river bank just as an fyi to my friends that may have an tough time on their own. This was the most relaxing weekend with Denise providing just about everything you could think of. Definitely check this out for your next trip!

Denise was so accommodating and friendly! We had an amazing time, wish we could have stayed longer. The river was beautiful! Our dog loved hanging in the river with us, there are stairs to walk down to get into the river but our dog was able to navigate with our help without an issue. Sitting by the fire at night with lightning bugs all around was so cool! We can’t wait to stay there again!
Denise’s cabin was a dream. We had everything we needed for an easy and relaxing camp getaway - fishing, fire, and the beauty of the quiet secluded woods. We will definitely be back!

Very nice, secluded spot on the river. All necessary amenities are provided plus more. Very friendly and accommodating host.
Coming from the stuffy suburbs of Quincy, MA - this was precisely the breath of fresh air my family sought. From the consignment shops to the local farms & farmer's markets, to the fresh river water running right by the yurt - grounded and recharged is how we were left feeling. 10/10 would recommend the stay!
