Beautiful, secluded, clean
This was a great spot! Plenty to do with pond to swim in, walking path, campfire, etc. Lots of amenities and outhouse was super clean and fresh, hand built by host. Absolute privacy having the whole area to yourself. Hosts were lovely. Would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at Bouldering brook. The campsite was very private and secluded. Beautiful spot on the brook. Very clean outhouse! Nice platform to pitch a tent on. We took a great day hike at pawtuckaway state park which was just 15 minutes from our campsite. Would definitely camp here again. The one thing I will say is you can still hear the highway a bit from the campsite. Not enough to bother us, but enough that if you stopped to listen you could hear it.
Awesome weekend at boulder brook
We had a great time camping here for a long weekend with our dog! Pete was very responsive when we needed him. You can tell he’s very handy. The tent platform is nicely built and the outhouse is really nice and clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The Firepit is nicely put together as well with a separate space for cooking with cooking grate, and plenty of space around the fire. The bubbling Brook was peaceful. We felt really secluded which is what we wanted. Plenty of space for an extra tent or two. A short walk down the access road is a beautiful pond which we took a dip in and our dog loved too. You can tell they really take care of the property. You can sort of hear the highway from the campsite but it didn’t bother us too much. 15 min drive to Pawtuckaway State Park and Bear Brook State Park where we want for a nice walk. The Candia First Stoppe Country Store is just an 8 minute drive away and has any supply you might need (wine, firewood, ice, etc.) and also a deli. We would definitely come back to Boulder Brook. Thanks Pete for an awesome experience!
Relax by the brook
Camping at peters was great! We were able to just pull right through (his directions down to the site are perfect for getting there). It was such a private spot and the outhouse looked newly built! You’ll be listening to the brook all night, it’s so relaxing. One thing to also note it was not nearly as bugging as I was expecting being so close to water so that was definitely a plus!
What a peaceful place! The wood platform for pitching the tent is solid. Large fire pit with cooking grid. Brook is right next to the site. Very responsive and helpful host. Thank you very much, will come back again!
