The apartment was amazing! Clean, decorated beautifully in my favorite midcentury style. The table was big enough for our big family meal. It was a perfect fit for visiting our college kid with our tinies. Everyone stayed and watched a movie and the adults spent time warming up in the sauna. We had fun adding more miles on the SHT. We will be back and telling all our friends to visit!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment space is so cozy and the land is beautiful. The location was also a huge plus, it is an easy drive to Duluth, but still outside the city enough to be quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful place to stay! Very accommodating, wonderful little extras like s’more stuff😊. Very cute inside and a lot of fun activities outside!!
We hope to go back in the winter to enjoy the little wood stove? And in the summer to enjoy the pond! Definitely recommend for either a nice getaway by yourself , they said there might be noise but if you have a big family and went by yourself you’d for sure still find it relaxing, and a wonderful place to go with family!

Kelcie and family were so welcoming and the camper was cozy, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Kelcie thought of all the special touches to make the stay relaxing and fun (fire pit, s’mores,, Adirondack outdoor chairs, outdoor lights). The camper was clean and stocked with bottled water and cooking essentials. There was a nice sauna and pond with fun kiddo gear (bounce raft, rip line, etc.). Communication was great.

My friends and I had the most amazing time at this apartment! We were looking for a cute and comfortable place for our trip before our senior year. We loved the location as it wasn’t too far of a drive to everything in Duluth. We loved the kitchen as we cooked dinner and a cake together! The whole apartment was clean and had everything we needed in it. We also had the perfect place to come back to when we were all hot from the summer heat. It provided an air conditioning unit, plus all the bunk beds had their own fans! Overall we loved our stay and we would all definitely want to visit again!

This was such a cute little above garage apartment. Gracious hosts. Impressive vintage decor and appliances/furniture. My kids loved the bunk room complete with their only little fans and lights 😍 We also enjoyed the deck surrounded by trees. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. A hidden gem that is quite close to Duluth!

This was a last minute stay when some other plans fell through, and we sure lucked out! It's cute, clean, and comfy and was a great jumping off point for exploring Duluth and the North Shore. The kids loved the board games and bunk beds (people with little kids should note that the top bunk doesn't have a railing, we made ours sleep on the bottom bunks). The icing on the cake was that Kelcie's husband fired up the sauna for us, so although it was sadly too rainy for s'mores, we got to watch a rainstorm through the sauna windows after the kids were in bed!! Thanks for the delightful stay!

My two girls and I had a great fathers weekend here. KJ and Kyle are wonderful host and we couldn’t of asked for anything else. She was very responsive to messages when I had trouble booking it because it was less than 24 hours in advance. We will definitely be back. Thank you again!

I can’t recommend this magical place enough. We went with our daughters, & they were so sad to leave. They had a blast staying in the bunk bed room, & have already asked when they can go back. Our hosts were accessible if needed, but everything was set up perfectly. Thank you Kelcie, & Kyle. Much appreciated.

Kelcie's place was perfect for our family! Our two teens loved the bunk bed bedroom and my husband and I enjoyed our own bedroom. The shared space provides plenty of space to hangout, play cards at the dining table and cuddle up and watch a movie. Plenty of throws/extra blankets. The deck has a fire table and four chairs, we enjoyed both nights. They provide the fire wood too! It was so nice to have space. We thought about a hotel room but this was way better. Each night we loved driving under the lights to come home. We highly recommend!

Kelcie’s apartment was just wonderful! The decor was so fun, the kitchen well equipped - electric oven & cooktop, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, and even smores supplies for the fire pit on the deck! My family and I had a wonderful time staying here while hiking at several area state parks.

We had the best weekend here! It's an adorable spot. We loved the vintage decor and the cozy, relaxing atmosphere the space provided. It was easy to find, the host was fantastic and the space was very clean. We want to come back and would for sure recommend a stay here!

This place fit our needs and exceeded our expectations! Clean and comfy! We met Kyle upon arrival. He welcomed us warmly. We used the outdoor deck and fireplace first night with provided s’mores. The interior we enjoyed the games and vintage flair. Kelcie’s attention to detail was phenomenal. If we plan to be back in the area we will defiantly request to stay again!

I almost hate leaving a review because Kelcie's space is a hidden gem! I know I probably expect a lot in a space - a clean, adorable place in a great location with lovely hosts, all for a reasonable price. But folks, this place is all that and more. We arrived for our short stay at dusk, and a magical sight greeted us. We drove down a tree-lined drive with lights strung across the tree to create a cozy canopy. Kyle was warm and friendly as he greeted us. He showed us the space and then left us to settle in. Our three boys loved the cozy bunks, each nook with an individual light and fan, the game cupboard, and the old-school Nintendo, which they sadly never got to play. I loved the vintage touches. The orange appliances have my heart! Kelcie thought of everything, fully stocked and then some. We stayed only two nights and used this spot as our home base, driving further up the North Shore to hit some of our favorite spots for the day. If you enjoy the drive up 61 as we do, this is an excellent location, as you are a good 1 1/2-2 hours from some of the more popular spots. If you want to check out Duluth, which we did on our second day, you are just a quick drive away. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again, perhaps for a more extended period, to take advantage of some of the items the property offers. I imagine this space would be delightfully cozy in the winter.
