The Guinea farm is 18 acres of feild and forest on the rural middle pennensula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. There is verly little traffic or light polution here, nature is at your fingertips. Come visit the farm and experience agrotourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the windernes and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle pennensula. There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria is a primative site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy is a suspended tree tent in the pines 700' beyond that and seperated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an offgrid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property. Each site is surronded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large feild. There are romaing guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack. There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available. 4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

Trilogy

Wonderful

We absolutely loved our stay at the trilogy campsite Ian has set up. It was the best three days. We wish we had booked another day or two. Ian was so nice to us and very helpful. It told us where to find the beaches, he let us feed his guineas and explore around his land. It was so peaceful and lovely. The private beach was just a mile down the road and Ian had bikes available for free use which was so nice. We rode bikes to the beach, it was only a ten minute bike ride. Dog friendly. It really was perfect. Thank you Ian for opening your land. We will be back again ☺️

Wisteria Treehouse

Much needed getaway!

The perfect getaway! I got to really relax and just take a break from all that noise but then again we definitely used the projector! Hahahah loved that! Also loved the cooking grill! And the lights at night were 😘👌🏾 I loved the convenience of how close the beach was so I caught the sunrise with my dog, this may be his last year he makes it out so it really was a special trip for us and one we will never forget. The ax throwing was so much fun hahahaha I never hit it once but my bf did but he was blown cause he wasn’t able to hit it again after that! The guineas were so cute, almost like my safety alarm hahaha if you heard them yelling it’s cause something’s near so I appreciated that, they reminded me of my guard dog back home except they are guineas :) Ian was so responsive and made this stay stress free! I would definitely come back again!

Stargazer Tiny Cabin

Book this!!!

We had an incredible visit at the stargazing cabin. The cabin was spacious for our family of 4. There were so many thoughtful touches like a hand drawn map, a projector, bug spray, and even bikes available. The toilet and shower were incredibly clean and a lovely outdoor experience. So close to a basically private beach. Ian was an amazing host and we loved meeting his birds! We will definitely be back again.

Trilogy

Great camping for families

We loved staying at Trilogy. Ian was a very friendly and helpful host. The location was quiet and down the street from the beach. Our kids really enjoyed sleeping in the hammock tent. The parents slept in our own tent in the ground. The covered picnic table was very convenient and the outdoor shower extremely useful to rinse off after the beach. We went to both Aaron's and Haven Beach. We had Aaron's beach to ourselves but Haven Beach was cleaner with bathrooms. We also played Cornhole, rode bikes and threw axes, all of which was included. Our littlest enjoyed the turkeys. Thank you for a wonderful stay, highly recommend for families! Especially loved the added fun of sleeping in the trees.

Wisteria Treehouse

I would come back for an entire week next time. It was well worth the long drive. I am going to recommend to family who live on virginia. The little extras like chairs, cooking gear and the immediate response from host made for a relaxed trip..the stars at night and the nearness to beaches made everyone happy.having quick access to wood and garden treat.

Stargazer Tiny Cabin

Starstruck!

We loved The Guinea Farm, Field, and Forrest! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. I loved riding the bicycles that were available and doing a little axe throwing (first time ever). I think our favorite part was meeting the chickens! I never realized what beautiful creatures they are! Ian was amazing and very patient answering all of our questions about the chickens, guineas, and turkey. Our dogs had plenty of space to run and play. Bonus, the beach was very close. We can't wait to come back again and try out the treehouse!
