Great tent camping spot, had everything we needed: compost toilet, electric, water. The host was very friendly and recommended many fun activities in the area. The animals were fun too.

a+ - Awesome space and terrific host - The campsite is in a really thoughtfully set up and in a beautiful tree circle - just the right amount of night sky, but the sun won’t wake you in the morning. There’s a string of nice lights around the circle for the night and a power cord you can connect to. The outdoor shower is super nice - I loved it - very hot and Shannon provides some Dr Bs soap to use, bc it drains right into her garden. There’s a sink too, and a nice newly built outhouse.
I was so relaxed! Shannon was worried ppl couldn’t tell from the photos that the camping site is about 50 feet from the house - it is, but the house is really dark and quiet, and I definitely felt like I had my own privacy and space.
There’s a sweet cat and dog who will come say hi, and friendly goats and chickens you can say hi to. Shannon is a professional outdoors person and knows the area super well - next time I go I really want to take her up on the kayaking offer. She had a campfire going on the other side of the property when I got there and invited me to hang out- really great.

Shannon (and the animals) were lovely hosts. The camping area is unique with the choice of front yard or within the wooded area in front of her house. The outdoor shower was fun to do after dark while watching the stars!

It was super fun staying at Shannon's. There are goats and chickens, an outdoor shower, fire pit and cute decor. We rented kayaks are paddled around nearby. Good seafood places around. Shannon was helpful with suggestions for food and local activities. It's the eastern shore without the crowds!

Watershed woods is definitely a little piece of heaven tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Shannon was a very accommodating host and made made me feel safe as a solo female traveler. She put a lot of thought and care into her property and it shows. The outdoor shower is AMAZING! Also, do yourself a favor and book the kayak trip with her. She is an absolute wealth of knowledge about the water and wildlife. It was so cool to see everything through her eyes. Her passion and love for the area is contagious and much appreciated. Would definitely stay at Watershed Woods again 😊

This little spot is through a woodsy path in Shannon’s backyard. It was lovely to have a hot shower and see some goats at the end of a day outside. We also enjoyed the fire pit & were glad for a luxurious composting toilet. My partner loved holding the chicks and feeding the goats.
A note to bring earplugs & white noise since there are loud dogs in the neighborhood at night & rooster in the morning.

We had a great time sleeping under the stars at Sarah’s!
We were greeted by her and her adorable dog, who kept us company and made us feel right at home, we loved having him with us during our morning.

Shannon is a 10 out of 10 host. Truly caring, helpful and just fun to be around. My time here was a wonderful experience. The grounds are well cared for as are the happy animals on the farm. So nice to have a potty and outdoor shower. Wish I would have had time to go on a kayak tour. She is such a passionate scientist and fun person. Don’t hesitate to confirm now!’
