Our commitment to sustainability and innovative living is showcased through a diverse array of off-grid and one-planet lifestyle practices. In 2022, we introduced our desert wetlands by damming a 12-acre arroyo, creating a reservoir that retains water for months after even the slightest rainfall. This oasis attracts local wildlife and migratory birds, providing a serene environment for nature enthusiasts. When conditions permit, guests can enjoy wading and swimming in a section of the lake, enhancing their connection with the natural surroundings. Our campground features 33 private campsites and comfortable guest rooms, allowing you to choose between solitude or interaction with our team as we care for our animals and engage in various sustainability projects. Surrounded on three sides by Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park, our location offers breathtaking mountain views and a stunning 360-degree panorama of the night sky. This tranquil retreat, aside from the occasional crowing of roosters, is a perfect place to reflect on life or unwind without distractions.
