Come pitch your tent or park your camper amid the peaceful desert hillside with views of plateaus that lead to the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park. There is a fire pit on site for you to toast marshmallows or cozy up near, and you can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table provided at each site.
The picnic tables are placed beneath shade sails.
There are two nice and new desert tan flushing Porta-Potties on-site, as well as showers for guests to use. These come in handy after a long day hiking.
We hope you'll enjoy the beautiful open sky sunsets, sunrises, and stargazing
as much as we do.
We are located just 3 miles from the entrance to Big Bend National Park. There are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore - you can hike, bike, canoe camp; kayak, off-road, swim, go horseback riding, visit hot springs, as well as visit restaurants, galleries, and listen to great music in Terlingua. There is something for everyone to feel free to bring the whole family.
DIRECTIONS: Once you are on Road Runner Circle, go past the house on the left with the Christmas lights on. Please continue down the road and follow the road around the curve to the left. The campsites will be on the left and side behind the rock walls. The campsite number that is booked is the campsite you will stay in.
Additional details to note:
- We now have an above ground pool to keep cool in during the summer! Covered with a shade sail the water stays nice and chilly. ($10 fee/person)
- You can stay connected if you'd like to, as cell reception and wifi are both available by the showers. Feel free to unplug during your stay though.
- Seeing other campers on your trip at the campsite is very standard, as the sites are far enough apart to feel like they are yours, but they are not private.
- Non potable water is provided on-site. The showers and non potable water is located approximately 1/4 mile from campsites 1-7.
-We have friendly, quirky miniature goats named Clyde and Stella to visit while up at the showers.

DIRECTIONS: Once you are on Road Runner Circle, go past the house on the left with the Christmas lights on. Please continue down the road and follow the road around the curve to the left. The campsites will be on the left and side behind the rock walls. The campsite number that is booked is the campsite you will stay in.
Additional details to note:
- We now have an above ground pool to keep cool in during the summer! Covered with a shade sail the water stays nice and chilly. ($10 fee/person)
- You can stay connected if you'd like to, as cell reception and wifi are both available by the showers. Feel free to unplug during your stay though.
- Seeing other campers on your trip at the campsite is very standard, as the sites are far enough apart to feel like they are yours, but they are not private.
- Non potable water is provided on-site. The showers and non potable water is located approximately 1/4 mile from campsites 1-7.
-We have friendly, quirky miniature goats named Clyde and Stella to visit while up at the showers.

The sites overlook the beautiful Canadian River breaks to the north with wide open skies to the west and east to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. These are rustic sites with no improvements. We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. Beautiful, quiet campground just a few minutes from Terlingua. The ability to put out tent under the covered shelter was really nice, and having electric and water there at the site also made it extra comfortable. The bathhouse was nice too. Friendly host….we have found our base camp for visiting the Big Bend/Terlingua area!

Such a great experience! We shared a pleasant time with our neighbor, privacy and with the owner. Showers were hot (such a bonus after floating in the river) and being able to wash our pots and pans. Views were awesome!!

Everything was as described and how we expected it to be. No surprises. Come prepared! We were alone for the night and enjoyed being under the stars with no humans around (well except for the highway but the noise wasn't too bad up there). If you love being outside and enjoy the view of the mountains you should come here. We really liked it!

I was looking for a basic and inexpensive option for Big Bend NP and this camp was ideal for this purpose. When I go again, I will try to take a site other than W3 specifically, just because it is a bit of a walk from my parked vehicle, but it was fine. I cannot speak to the toilet or shower facility as I had my own toilet and did not use the shower during the time I was there. If you drive in after full dark, it can be a bit confusing where to turn and go, but I made it fine.

Willow Creek was an excellent campground. Close to everything and had incredible views of the surrounding desert, you could even see Santa Elena Canyon. I also enjoyed the barrooms and showers. When I’m back in Terlingua, I know where I will be staying. 10/10

Our camping site and experience was awesome! The site was easy to find and had a shelter and picknick table. Water and electricity was easily available.
The common area with bathrooms, showers and dishwashing station were very clean and well maintained.
Retief was around the site checking on things often and making sure everyone was doing well. He also was helpful with answers to questions and suggestions of what we should do to make our trip even better.

Place is easy to get to. Campgrounds are spaced out well. The bathrooms and showers are amazing. The host does a OUTSTANDING job at keeping them clean. Super grateful for that, as a warm shower is the icing on the cake after a long day of hiking. The host himself is helpful. Loved the bird feeders across the property, I was able to see local bird species. 10/10.
