Great/Beautiful property highly recommend! Was a very nice site, pretty good spacing between sites, but be aware (as outlined on site) if it’s a busy time there’s not much privacy at this location- if that’s important to you. Had next to zero cell service from Verizon but ATT was fine.

Just went camping at 4R Hipcamp and it was phenomenal! Beautiful… rolling hills, creeks and the campsites were plentiful. Most of all, it was peaceful. This campsite does provide showers and a toilet, but come prepared. We slept under a big oak tree and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Highly recommend!

Campground was pretty. Top of the Mountain really does have a fantastic view. We rode by it on a mountain bike race. There's a road over by a bunch of wind turbines that had a really good view.
Showers have an instant hot water heater. Non-variable temperature. Bring a pull cord if you want kids to be able to shower themselves. Hand washing sinks at the shower.
It could use more toilets for the morning rush at events. Sitzen by itself is probably fine for an off-weekend.
The creek has shiners/minnows about 2-3 inches long downstream of the culvert.

We came for the TMBRA/DORBA race and camped in our camper van. It was a great place! Beautiful property, excellent wine tasting room, great mtb trail. Loved the showers haha. It was like camping at a summer camp and they were super unique and rustic.

Walt is a super hero. Upon arriving to our campsite on a very rainy weekend, we proceeded to get stuck in the mud. Walt arrived the next morning at 6:30am and, after considerable effort, pulled us out with his tractor. He went above and beyond to take care of his guests. I highly recommend anything associated with the winery or Walt’s property. Thanks Walt!

Having just washed the car, the dust from the approach road was so bad it got into the internal door spaces. So a bit peeved. Toilet & wash room not easily identifiable and a good 5-10 minute walk from the dispersed site. The instructions given were nice and clear to get to the site and a large grassy area.

We camped at the dispersed site, me car camping and my buddy tent camped. We met one of the owners Sunday before leaving and he’s definitely good people. Even helped to change a tire for me that had a screw in it. We will be going back.

We loved the privacy of site #15 and the property was beautiful! Firewood was stocked by our site which was super convenient. No picnic table at the site but we made do! We went up to the winery for lunch one day which was super nice.

Walt has a little hilly, scenic, perfect paradise in the middle of pasture land Texas USA. Absolutely would recommend! Don’t however expect comforts at your RV or campsites. You’ll have to get that at his beautiful winery’s tasting room on top of the hill.

The site was rather nice, very secluded, the creek wasn’t really a creek, more of a ditch that water really wasn’t flowing through. Maybe that’s just the time of the year with lower water levels.
The toilet is a porta potty, that was pretty gross, but the shower was even grocer. Pour waterproofing job on the bottom, smelled like sewage or mold, or a combination of both. Worst of all, the shower faucet above, shot out at every direction except down, making it almost impossible to rinse off. A dollar store showerhead would be significantly better than what’s in there. Not sure what the issue is, maybe it’s clogged, I don’t know.
The roads leading to the camp are rock, which is fine, but a bunch of very fine dust kicks up every time a car passes. Clearly cancer waiting to happen.
