You feel like you are on your own island. I really loved it. The host were so great. It was very beautiful. There is a little traffic noise but other than that it's perfect.

Do you dream of being able to fish from your front door? The bell tent is truly the most perfect place to stay. Staying on the dock, the water rocks you to sleep.
It is about 15 minutes to the Walmart from location!
All in all, the most beautiful property, the kindest hosts, and the most convenient location to camp without fear of forgetting a necessity or two. We will absolutely be back!

My lovely girlfriend and I decided we needed some time away after a busy month at work so we booked the yurt on Carlos’s land. Let me start off by saying it surpassed our expectations and we had a great experience. They provided a wood stove for the inside of the yurt that kept us very warm through the day and night. He and his wife were a delight and checked in on us to see how everything was which was very kind! If you are having any doubts on booking the yurt we’ll let me put your mind at ease! It is 100% worth it

Great sight host was very sweet and helpful. They are working on a yurt sight for glamming that my wife is looking forward to. Is not real isolated but surprisingly peaceful.

Lauren was a great host and walked us through the entire property and showed us all of the ins and outs. We stayed next to the fishing pond and it was a great view. We loved all of the dense trees and trails to explore. We fished a ton and caught a bunch of catfish and sunfish. Great spot and will be back again.

Very nice trip. I originally was booked for site one, but after a tour and being the only one there this weekend i was able to move to site 2. It had a better view of the pond and just was a nice spot. How’s were great and very communicative. I felt safe and it was only a short drive to town if you needed something. Definitely would stay again.

We loved the space that was provided to camp. Carlos and Lauren did a great job showing us around the camp site and were very friendly. It was a perfect spot for a weekend trip. There was a private bathroom are available, abundant wood piles, fire pit area, and a lake to walk around. We will definitely return!

Great campsite with view of their pond! Clean & well kept. The property was beautiful. Would highly recommend if you needed a night or 2 away from the city.

I would highly recommend this property! Our party had an absolutely great time. The communication prior to the trip was very easy and responsive.
Upon arrival, Carlos and his lovely wife greeted us and although we had some issues with our parties arrival, Carlos ended up giving our party the tour twice. He walks you along the property to your site. There is an outdoor toilet which can be described as an outhouse but with amenities. They really do take care of their guests. Each site has a fire ring. Also they told us no poison ivy on the property which was a great thing with our kids.
The hosts were very gracious and caring toward our little kids and we could not have asked for better ones. Once they give you the tour and introductions they leave you be with nature.
The fishing...the kids had a great time as it was nonstop action! Granted 2-5inch sunfish/perch aren't trophies but the action was non stop. Perfect experience for little kids.
Dependent on the site, it may be close to the road but the noise is very minimal and there's not alot of traffic.
There are dogs that bark at night but nothing concerning. If anything you know there's people near by for that "you are not alone" safety feel.
I would recommend Tent Sites and would definitely go back if Carlos would let us.

Carlos (and his wife Lauren) welcomed us when we arrived, gave us helpful instructions for the toilet, gave us a small tour of the campsite, and let us know that we can contact them if we had any questions. Just so you know, the toilet was just a stool with a bag and absorbing strip inside a small tent, but they had everything you’d need (hand sanitizer, toilet paper, bags, etc).
We enjoyed the tree coverage that shaded our tent and gave us a feeling of seclusion. The walk around their pond was lovely, and Carlos said we could fish but we didn’t bring any fishing gear.
At night, we could hear the barking of dogs, which would be a bother to a lighter sleeper. On our walk around the pond we got to meet the dogs through a fence and they were very nice.
We really enjoyed camping here! Thanks for having us, Carlos and Lauren. :)

Carlos and his wife have a beautiful property! I camped at tent site #4 for one night; it was a quick stop-over while on a road trip back home from an event in the Dallas area. While I was only planning to sleep and hit the road Carlos and his wife were there to greet and direct me as soon as I arrived. I arrived after dark and found the entry to the campsite lit with lights to aid in navigation. Carlos and his wife gave me a great run-down of the rules, how the camp toilet works, rules regarding fires, etc. The site was private and right next to the pond on the property. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend his property.

This is the perfect location for those who want to camp but don’t like the idea of being completely isolated. With that comes easy access to stores when you forget something and hiking local trails. There is some sound pollution but it’s a balance. Lauren and Carlos were very kind and the communication was excellent. Lauren greeted me with a smile, walked me through everything and recommended local hiking trails. The location is very easy to get to. I set up my hammock, started a campfire and just enjoyed the canopy of trees!

I enjoyed Carlos’s place. We enjoyed cooking on the fire and sitting by the water. It was also nice that there was an outhouse. Highly recommend this place. Everyone was friendly and communicated regularly.

Carlos was a great host. He met me soon after my arrival and walked me around the property. The land was beautiful with so many trees and gentle rolling hills.
I can definitely recommend spending a night or two.

Overall we had a great stay. Lauren and Carlos were both helpful, friendly, and answered any questions we had. This is a nice semi-primitive camping experience, would recommend if you just want a short trip away from the big city and some peaceful nature time. The only complaint I have is that, hiking trails were advertised in the posting and I didn’t really see this present and you have to stay close to your camp. The guest bathroom was a nice bonus!

This was a camping test run with our dog as he’s never been and we have a longer trip planned for the end of the month. Lauren greeted us upon arrival and lead us to our site which overlooked their pond (full of fish btw). She was extremely welcoming and the camp site was ideal! The road is close and from our spot you could see 3 other campsites but we weren’t looking for a primitive experience. We will definitely be back!!
