Campsites surround a fishing pond. Heavily treed and shaded area. Private surroundings outside of city limits. Some sites have a fire pit and some a fire ring, but all have campfire capability. Sites #3 & #4 have parking next to them. Sites #1 & #2 will require a bit of a hike from parking area, so you may want to bring a cart. Property is a few minutes away from downtown Denison, 15 minutes from Lake Texoma and broader restaurant/shopping selections in Sherman, and 20 minutes from Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK.Perfect for a romantic getaway, this two-person canvas yurt/bell tent sits on a floating platform at the edge of our pond and is surrounded by beautiful evergreens. The yurt interior has a bit of a glamping feel with 200 sq ft of rugs, a queen size bed, and a single size futon. There's also available air conditioning for night time use and electric hookups for charging and powering small devices. There is ambient lighting to ensure safe movements in the dark, as well as a serene waterfront view. Fishing can also be enjoyed right from the floating platform, as well as from anywhere along the pond's shore. Guests will have access to their own fire ring, porch style swing, a communal outhouse style toilet -- just a quick walk away from the site -- and several acres of spaces surrounded by woods.

Site 3 - Tent Sites

Great sight host was very sweet and helpful. They are working on a yurt sight for glamming that my wife is looking forward to. Is not real isolated but surprisingly peaceful.

Everything was great! Owners are very kind and will guide you to your site. They have a nice lake in site so bring your rods. We are coming back!

Site 2 - Tent Sites

Lauren was a great host and walked us through the entire property and showed us all of the ins and outs. We stayed next to the fishing pond and it was a great view. We loved all of the dense trees and trails to explore. We fished a ton and caught a bunch of catfish and sunfish. Great spot and will be back again.

Site 1 - Tent Sites

Very nice trip. I originally was booked for site one, but after a tour and being the only one there this weekend i was able to move to site 2. It had a better view of the pond and just was a nice spot. How’s were great and very communicative. I felt safe and it was only a short drive to town if you needed something. Definitely would stay again.
