Single campsite on 72 acres along beautiful Jumpoff Joe Creek. Shaded, adjacent to romantically lighted timber-frame private covered bridge (no traffic). Very secluded, but only 1/2 mile from I-5 (no freeway noise, though). Private "beach" area and kid-friendly water play area with wild creatures (turkey, deer, fish, crayfish, water striders, turtles, frogs, etc.). Picnic table, tent spots, and fresh water spigot. Short hiking trails (watch out for poison oak!). Best for tenting, smaller RV's, tree tents, or rooftop tents. About 100 yards from nearest structure. 3 nights max except by private arrangement. NO smoking/vaping/marijuana. NO wood fires, but propane fire-ring is available -- bring your own propane tank or pay $5 extra to use my propane tank if available. Good cell service from Google Fi/USCellular. WiFi available on porch of owner's house by request. Hey there! I loved the tent camping here. It was peaceful especially listening to the river. Bathroom was clean. Was able to find it easily.. Dollar general not far down the road as well as food trucks and drinks.

Our short time at this campsite was great. The sound of the river was nice to wake up to. The home residence in all is a slice of heaven. Deer out your window when you wake up. I thought it was almost perfect. The “we are watching” sign almost next to the outdoor shower made me nervous. It’s like you’re alone but being watched. I would totally go back. I’d just use my own shower.

This was the perfect spot for us to spend the night in our van on our way from OR to CA. Easy to find, not far off the highway but very quiet, beautiful and well maintained, could hear the stream flowing right outside our window, truly peaceful. Porta potty on-site that was clean and well-stocked. Wish we’d had more time. Will for sure be back if we’re in the area again!

The site was beautiful. We didn’t really get to see it in the daylight but the covered bridge and the rushing creek were amazing. I got to fall asleep to the sound of the creek and it was incredibly relaxing. The host was friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I have been all over in our converted bus and this place, was by far, one of our absolute favorite places!!!! Soooo private, well equipped, awesome setup, gorgeous trees and a beautiful bridge, on a beautiful (good sized) creek, with the most beautiful and relaxing atmosphere we could have hoped for. We were able to really enjoy nature and it felt so peaceful that it was hard for us to leave. 😊 We can’t wait to come back again!!!!

Beautiful little hideaway. Easy to access, but off the beaten path just enough. Almost flat parking spot for my camper van and really nice clean portapotti and propane shower. The creek is idyllic, and it was lovely to hear it bubbling all night. Some fun stuff for my tweens to climb around on too! Well def be back :)

The tent site is beautiful and well-maintained. Marcus already had the propane hooked up for us, so it was seamless. The creek runs right behind the campsite, so you hear it running all night. Super peaceful. We were lucky, with dry, cool weather. There’s a picnic table and a clean port-a-potty. The bench by the creek is a lovely place for morning coffee! ☕️ Would definitely come back. No trouble with GPS finding the site, good phone signal with T-Mobile.

My Mom’s favorite!

What an amazing spot-Marcus has created a wonderful camping experience! Fire ring (which we didn’t get to use but appreciate its presence), benches, picnic table, water, access to the creek, porta-potty, shower-everything you might need for a great trip. Beautiful property- walking path, covered bridge, gorgeous creek and so many trees-a fantastic view all around. Very private as well. So far this is my Mom’s favorite Hipcamp! Unfortunately I am sensitive to noise and could hear I5 which was surprising- it only slightly affected my view of the site. Not a deal-breaker by any means. We also discovered that our two dogs love acorns (which we discovered are poisonous to dogs) so keeping them away from them was a small issue. In all of the most important ways this property is a must see, if you are in the area or not, our drive was 2 1/2 hours! Thank you so much for having us!

This place was everything we could possibly ask for! A perfect private place in the woods but just 10 Mins from the city! We loved having access to a shower and toilet and Marcus was very responsive! Highly recommend it!

Absolutely amazing!! Secluded on a beautiful river right at your campsite. Beautiful lighted bridge for scenery. Loved having a clean bathroom and heated outdoor shower. Didn’t meet the host because we didn’t need anything. However he has an amazing camp spot that I would highly recommend.

Babbling brook and outdoor shower

Really nice set up. Gravel pad that required very little leveling. Behind our 16' travel trailer was a bench to sit and watch the babbling brook and a cool lightly lit wooden bridge above us. On the level between the creek and our camper was a propane fire ring, potable water spigot and a bench and picnic table to sit at The out house was clean and NO smell!! The air was too chilly for us to try the shower but it was a nice set up. Very private. Couldn't ask for more.

Best find EVER!

25 ft travel trailer

We could not have asked for a better place to camp for a few days! This place was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Secluded and totally private, quiet, in the trees, on a lovely creek, yet close to town. Our Goldendoodle loved jumping off the bank, into the creek, and she would swim in circles all day if we let her. We have a 25 ft trailer and I honestly wouldn't recommend a bigger trailer. It was a little tricky getting our trailer turned around, but once we did, we were nestled perfectly in the level site with plenty of room for our pop out. There is a covered bridge next to the campsite that crossed over the creek. Every morning, we went over the bridge and walked the short loop in the forest. Not long but perfect for the morning walk. This place had it all! Picnic table, propane fire pit (safe!), beautiful clear creek, porta potty and outdoor shower with plenty of hot water. Our host, Marcus, was great. He lives on the property but not too close to the campsite. He greeted us when we got there and made sure we had all we needed and he said goodbye when we were leaving. I wont stay anywhere else when I come back to Grants Pass! Hidden Gem and I'm already wanting to drive the 4 hours to go back!

Peaceful friend getaway

This site was so beautiful and peaceful it has everything you could need. I definitely recommend bringing extra trash bags so you can double bag the trash when you take it with you as they are not provided. Our host was so sweet and came to check that we were okay when it started to down pour rain ! We will definitely be coming back here again!

Lovely and quiet

My family of 4 plus doggy loved camping here. As there is only one campsite it is very quiet and private. We enjoyed the creek, especially when it was hot, and the shower was absolutely wonderful! Marcus and kids were very friendly and helpful as well, but also gave us plenty of space. We saw large hawks flying very close overhead and multiple deer, as well as various smaller wildlife in and around the creek. There are stickers in the tall grasses, stick to the trails and/or wear shorts and short socks (they don't really stick to skin) and you'll avoid most of them.

Solid site! Was able to back in and unload my stuff right next to the site , having a shower while camping was so nice, didn’t have a chance to take a dip in the creek but it was very relaxing to listen to while falling asleep. Also the lights on the bridge were so pretty

Great beautiful spot. I walked the loop trail which was peaceful in the morning. And dreamed of coming back for a small friend dinner candlelit on the covered bridge. Very ideallic!
