Great site! PERFECT location, just miles from Asheville without the congestion, and easy access to state parks, blue ridge parkway, and any other attraction you're visiting the area for!
The site is clean and beautiful with relative privacy, but at site 3 you'll have a close neighbor.
I highly recommend this place. Louedith has been great.

We had an awesome stay! Louedith was such a sweetheart, and was very accommodating when the booking site gave us issues. Clean and quiet area. Clean port-a-potty for the site. Water was available, as well as trash disposal. There was a deck at our site, and an adorable barn down the road with games inside, and the mountain views were excellent. Also allowed pets so that was a plus. Price was definitely nice as well. Would definitely stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The views were beautiful. The setting was peaceful. There was a camper parked right next to us, but fortunately the neighbors were friendly and quiet. The barn was a nice place to hang out, but it was very dirty and not many games. We still enjoyed swinging in the chair swings. We also loved the fire pit and mountain views.

Just a wonderful spot and the kids age 5 and 6 were overjoyed with the barn house. This is a really good base camp to be able to then go to Asheville and Hendersonville to enjoy the sites around. Our hosts were easy going and friendly. Would definitely visit again! Thank you :-)

Easy for large rig to navigate
Gorgeous view
It was our first trip in our new Schoolie rig, and we had some epic travel aggravations along the way. This Hipcamp site was the one bright spot in all that. 😆 I’d like to visit again when we can use it for a base camp for hiking or kayaking. This time it’s just been us regrouping to get on the road again

Our second trip to Louedith’s beautiful site. Gorgeous Mountain View’s! We woke up to wild turkeys roaming the frosty grass.
Private, secluded well maintained property! If you love clamping but prefer not to stay in big RV parks, this is your spot close to Asheville.

We had a wonderful stay at Louedith's. The view was spectacular. The owners touched base with us as soon as we arrived and were very accommodating.
We did have spotty WIFI from the camper but no issues if we were outside.
We chose the site that was closest to the one home but offered more privacy for us and the view was amazing.

Great spot! We were on motorcycles and never concerned once about security; we left a lot of gear on the bikes with no worries! We were greeted soon after arrival but the hosts were very unobtrusive after that. The tent setup was a great help, the star gazing was great, and the area was quiet. Plenty of parking for cars as well. The water source was close, clean, and easy to use, and the bathroom was very clean as well.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience staying at the Crow's Nest Campsite. Louedith and Todd were great at communicating and gave very helpful instructions on reaching the site. The tent platform was large enough for our 2-person tent as well as chairs and a table, and the portable restroom was very clean.

Such lovely hosts and a spectacular view. Louedith and Todd were very accommodating to our needs. In spite of being located near a few houses the atmosphere on the property was charming and peaceful. The barn was much fun with things to do. Loved being there!

We were pleasantly surprised by this location! Very close to Blue Ridge pkwy and some really good hiking, not far from Asheville, Hendersonville, etc. and so, so quiet! Plenty of space to get yourself situated comfortably at your campsite. Great views all around. We got to see the Milky Way so clearly one of our nights there since there was not much light pollution. We met the host and her son, both of which were very nice and respectful. Needless to say, we will definitely be back!

We rented sites 2 and 3 for the long holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. The spots were level and the views were beautiful. Communication with Louedith was top notch. Can’t wait to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed camping at this property. The site had relaxing views with lots of wildlife around, the kids enjoyed seeing the barn and all of its treasures, and we all enjoyed the brewerys in the area and the hiking. A great site that we would recommend.

Our family rented sites two and three for the long Labor Day weekend, and we could not have been more pleased. The communication with Louedith was excellent and everything was just as described. A peaceful weekend with family—just what the doctor ordered! And the homemade bread was delicious 😋.

Beautiful place! We stayed in site two looking over the lush valley and wildlife. We would definitely do site one looking across Pisgah mountain range next time. Host was very accommodating with amazing bread and firewood and the sites were immaculate and very level.

This was our first HipCamp experience, and what an absolute gem this place is. Up at the end of a secluded valley, but only minutes to downtown Asheville in one direction and the Blue Ridge Parkway in the other. And the views from the site, wow. We even got to enjoy the local deer family feeding in the bottom below our camper every morning and evening.
Directions and communication with Ms. Louedith were prompt and very clear. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

This is a very well maintained property. If you are looking for a safe place to park your camper and you don’t mind driving 20 minutes into Asheville, this could be a good fit.
That said, the listing is misleading. There is no privacy. This spot is backed up against a house that they rent on AirBnB. It is also situated on the neighborhood gravel road, so every morning and evening every person either renting or living in the neighborhood will drive by about 30 ft from your “camp”. They are basically renting out a spot in the driveway of their old family house. At one point the the neighbors lawn service was mowing just outside of my camper.
After booking on Hipcamp I did not see an address listed and had no way to search the exact location before Louedith’s strict 1 week cancellation “policy”.
The pictures used in the listing do not clearly represent the property. The withholding of the exact address and cancelation policy make it difficult for the renter to comfortably get out of it isn’t a good fit.
I recommend just being honest about your listing, share the address immediately upon booking and be clear about the surrounding rentals and houses - this is not a “camp site” but your parents old driveway.
For example, a bright motion light goes off if you step out of your camper. The neighbors can literally look into your camper windows from the back porch. It could be awkward for anyone renting the adjacent house or this parking spot.

Louedith and Todd were amazing hosts! They stopped by with vegetables from the garden which the kids loved and made sure we had everything we needed. We ended up being in Spot 1 which had an incredible view of the mountains. The barn area with the games were a hit with the kids and everyone staying/living in the area were so nice and helpful. Would recommend this spot and will definitely be back!

Beautiful views, conveniently located to many attractions, welcoming host. We loved our stay at this Hipcamp. We camp with our dogs and they had plenty of room to roam around. There is a cute barn at the sites that has lots of things to do inside. Host has this decorators with antiques, games and more. We were even treated to a few goodies from her garden while we were there. We are looking forward to our stay this fall.
The only con at this hipcamp is it could be a little tricky to turn around a large trailer on sites 2 or 3. We have a 40 foot fifth wheel and did not have a problem but we had to scout the property before deciding on the best place to achieve this. Otherwise this is a perfect Hipcamp.

Amazing views!!! Very easy to get to and locate. The barn is so cute with all the games. The only downside is the house next to us as a motion light so at night when cars drive by the light shines on your site and can kill the dark night sky with firepit vibe. However that is the only downside. The view is totally worth it.

Peaceful camping near Asheville

We had a great stay this weekend. The campsite was spacious and very well graveled. There was a bundle of wood waiting for us as well as a picnic table. It was easy to connect to the electric and water. Bring an extra long sewer line or an extra adapter because you will need more length than a traditional 20 foot. The views were beautiful and the fireflies at night were a special treat. Would recommend!
Bonus, the hosts have a beautiful vegetable garden down the hill, and their son was very generous and offered us fresh zucchini, summer squash, and cucumbers. Thank you!
