This was a great campsite! Easy to get to by car and it was private since you are the only camper at the site. You are by a road, however, it is not a busy one. Please be aware, you will need to take a small set of stairs down to the campsite. So if you have a lot of gear, you’ll be making multiple trips. Overall, I would received this site!

Yes yes yes! Tyler was an excellent host and the camp site was absolute heaven on earth. I was camping alone and having Tyler close by helped me feel safe. I love his vision and lifestyle he was certainly accommodating. The creek is amazing the starts were breathtaking! I will absolutely come back it’s so quiet and healing. I loved everything about this spot!

Great spot to camp! Tyler was a great host and we liked falling asleep to the sounds of the stream. The sign had fallen over which made finding the location a little tricky but other than that we had a really good experience. Would recommend

Such a lovely place to camp, even in winter. My daughter and I made a delicious diner by the creek and enjoyed a fire. Tyler was tremendous- my camper van got stuck in the soft ground on the side of the road and he helped pull us out… also made a night time run for firewood after the firewood we brought was too damp to burn. Not a lot of cars that drove by - some other folks mentioned dogs barking in their review and we heard them for a few hours but they stopped around 10, thankfully. The outhouse was super clean and while we had a luggable loo, it was nice to use.

Great, relaxing creek side spot. Easy enough to find and get to. Close to Pisgah go-to's without the bustle of the big campsites, or overhead of backcountry camping.

I loved staying in Tyler’s land by the creek! It was the perfect, tucked away camp site with a running creek with water perfect to splash off after a long day! Creek sounds were a great natural white noise to fall asleep to! I will absolutely be back! THANKS TYLER! ❤️🩹

What a perfect site - easy to access, private (you can see Tyler’s place but it still feels very secluded), well maintained, right next to the creek, access to clean restroom - what more could you ask for? Tyler was super helpful and responsive, wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Our family loved this site. There is over 100 feet of private that our son loves playing in. The host lives in a dome that is visible from the site, but it still feels very secluded, and we loved watching his flock of ducks and geese come down and play in the river. The duck eggs he brought over were a fun treat and a first for all. You park on the road and walk down log stairs so the access to your car is super convenient. There’s also a porta potty just up the road.
The host put a lot of thought into this site and is always updating things with rough cut lumber or custom log work.

Five Stars! Great scenery the whole campsite is a work of art. Tyler is a great guy we had a good little conversation, he even dropped off some fresh duck eggs with our fire wood! The mountain stream next the campsite is really cool and sounds amazing at night. Very convenient, the campsite is located close to the dead end road and it’s an easy drive to all the things around the area.

Tent camping was definitely a good time here on Tyler's land! Even though we only stayed one night its most definitely going to be a trip we remember for sure! Tyler went above and beyond our expectations to make us feel welcomed and even offered us some fresh duck eggs which were my first time having them but because of Tyler they won't be my last time either. The campsite was perfectly laid out and you can tell he really put some thought into how he wanted the space to turn out. We will make it a point to come back and hopefully stay more consecutive nights here.
P.S. the sound of the creek is really something to look forward to especially while dozing off in a warm tent.

We loved camping on Tyler's land! The site was super easy to access, private, and the directions were super clear. Beautiful spot and awesome firepit. Would definitely recommend and will be hopefully returning soon!

Tyler's property is like a magical fairy land. It was just what I was looking for in a solo mom camping trip. It felt secure even with my car up by road. I left my phone in it to charge several times. It's a heavily wooded residential street but I hardly ever saw other cars so its clearly only used by the handful of neighbors. When you're in the site you forget there are even are other houses. You can only see Tyler's. There is a very level tent pad tucked in the rhododendron and lots of neat tree stumps and platforms on which to sit your gear. The creek is so close it sounded like it was right behind my pillow. Perfect for your hammock too. So relaxing. Tyler goes out of his way to be a great host. He brought me fresh duck eggs and made sure I had plenty of fire wood. He also made recommendations on anything i asked about. The resident ducks are adorable to watch. The portalet was clean and conveniently located. I just brought my own potable water for hand and dish washing. I was enjoying the campnsite so much my first full day that I didn't leave to do anything else until half way through the afternoon. The road going up to the parkway from Tylers is so beautiful that its a destination of its own. Tyler's is only 25 minutes from a road that takes you right through the heart of the land of waterfalls. I never left the 3 prettiest roads, 151, 276 and the blue ridge parkway. I look forward to returning with the kids sometime.

We loved camping at Rosebay! Tyler was such a gracious and hospitable host who welcomed us and provided a comfortable stay. Gorgeous property, listening to the creek at night was fantastic! Would recommend to friends and family, we will definitely be back!

My friend and I had a great time camping on Tyler’s land. It wasn’t hard to locate and we like that it was tucked away from the road. The creek adds the perfect background noise. Loved the raised gravel platform for the tent because we felt safe from some of the rain we had gotten. It’s a beautiful property and we would definitely come back.

Tyler has carved out a lovely little camp spot on his property with a nice level gravel pad that was the right size for our three person tent. The road next to the site was fairly quiet as it is a rural location and on a no outlet street so the very occasional sounds of vehicles weren't too bothersome despite their proximity. The tent site was separated from the main property by a rushing stream and some rhododendrons, with a view of the unique geodesic dome house. All in all this site is an impressive example of what a determined person can do with a small rural property and the interesting touches like the log staircase and the tree trunk bridge were lovely to admire.

Great hosts who we’re very helpful and attentive when needed. Great communication before and during our visit. Gave us a little tour of their property, jumped our car once, lent us a topo map, helped us charge our devices, and gave great hiking suggestions. Although we didn’t use the outdoor shower, Stephanie had it all set up for us and showed us how to use it. Directions to the site were clear and the place was easy to find.
Beautiful and quiet campsite by the creek with nice level tent platform. Nice firepit with place to chill away from tent. Lots of lovelly rhododendron and a beautiful tulip poplar at the site. Helpful solar lights if you want them on in the little creek bridge in the site. You can tell the hosts love this site and their home.
Lots of hiking nearby. We went to the blue ridge parkway area and hiked to a lovely waterfall called skinny dip falls on the sea to mountains trail. We also went to the bent creek experimental forest. Asheville only about 20-25 minutes away.
Overall great visit and awesome little place to camp of you are looking to camp in the area in a place that is quiet and away from generators and lots of people commonly found in campgrounds. Great home base to go out and explore the Pisgah and Cherokee forests and Asheville.

We had a really nice evening along the creek here. The hosts provided us with firewood and fire starter upon arrival, as well as offered an outdoor shower. The sleeping platform was able to fit two tents comfortably, and we had a quiet, cozy slumber. Waking up in this little forest nook alongside the water was such a grounding part of our road trip. Highly recommend this sweet stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The sounds of the creek alone made the stay worth it … so tranquil and relaxing! I can’t remember the last time I slept so well in a tent. Tyler was so friendly and responsive when we needed to adjust our booking dates. He provided us plenty of firewood and even stopped by to thank us as we were packing up to leave the next morning. A gem for visitors and locals alike. Would definitely recommend staying here!
