The Ruby Ranch is a working farm and horse operation. Guests will stay at camping spots along Upper Hominy Creek at the base of our new forest garden field. Campers can soak in the creek and fall asleep to the sound of moving water. Wake up to the chirping of many bird varieties that inhabit this land. If campers are interested in visiting the horses or greenhouses, or want a farm tour, please schedule a tour with the campsite host (for an additional fee). Please respect the privacy of the Ranch horses, neighbors and permanent human inhabitants.

Site one is the first site you will see after parking. It is nestled along upper Hominy Creek. There is a fire pit, room for 2 average sized tents and one hammock. There is access to a shared port-o-let. This site is right on the creek, so guests can enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of running water, and take a dip to cool off. This hammock spot on this site is relatively close to site #2. There are no hook-ups or potable water.

Site two is the second site you will see after parking. It is nestled along upper Hominy Creek. There is a fire pit and room for 2 average sized tents. There is access to a shared port-o-let. This site is relatively close to one side of site #1. This site is right on the creek, so guests can enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of running water, and take a dip to cool off. There are no hook-ups or potable water.

There is access to a shared port-o-let. This site is right on the creek, so guests can enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of running water, and take a dip to cool off. This sight is more like field camping with a little more tent space. There are no hook-ups or potable water.

Very nice spot next to a fun area right on the river bank. We had a great time. The listing was not 100% correct however. There was no port-a-john. Quite and comfortable though.

I had a wonderful time tent camping at Ruby Ranch. I saw 2 out of 3 of the sites, both were pretty spacious and had trees for hammocks and easy access to the creek. You can pull your car right up to the sites to unload. The location is nearby to plenty of restaurants and hiking trails. I will be coming back again my next visit. My only complaints are the slight smell of horse manure, but it was not overbearing, and a lightly trafficked road right across the creek. For the price point and location, it is very easy to overlook the nit picky details! All around 10/10
