Our stay at Steady Slope was great! The field was lovely with a big beautiful fire-pit and plenty of wood (which we would have been happy to use if it wasn’t raining). There was a comode and a sink, which were both very convenient. The BEST part of the stay were the adorable doggies and cat who live on the property. They were so sweet and we had so much fun giving them lots of love. Communication with Amanda was very easy and warm. Thanks for having us!

Had a really great time at this site. The tent was large and clean and did a great job insulating heat and protecting us from wind and rain. They had plenty of firewood available and a propane heater with some cans of propane available. Everything you could need for cooking. The hosts dogs met us when we first arrived and my dog absolutely loved them. Very sweet and well behaved. The one dog accompanied us the walkway to our tent. Tent is a little far from car, be sure not to forget anything in your vehicle when you go up to the site. We realized almost immediately upon nightfall we had forgotten something we needed. Something to note although this is out of hosts control, but you might want to be aware that cell service was almost nonexistent driving to the site (specifically going through Catskill Park) so be sure to download your maps and music/podcasts before you leave for your trip. Service at the site was enough to send a text if you needed, but you can’t get online. You could see stars at night when there weren’t clouds. Tons of cool little mushrooms growing in the area which was fun to look around at. Very private site. You won’t see anyone after hosts show you to the tent unless you go walking back down the hill.

Steady Slope is a true treasure. Our family had a wonderful weekend camping at the primitive site—it’s private, peaceful, and had everything we needed for an easy camping experience. Amanda and Christopher are gracious hosts. So are Pepper and Ripley, their joyous dogs who checked in on us from time to time. Add on some time at the sauna and cold plunge for a truly special treat (and deeper sleep) among the fields and forest of this magical part of Delaware County.

Great stay! Quiet and secluded enough to feel private, but not too far of a walk to the shower, sink, and parking lot to cleanup or grab something from the car. Some cell service if necessary on the site, and Amanda and Christopher communicated well and coordinated pickup of our things with their RTV so we didn’t have to lug it to and from the car. Was well stocked and a relaxing stay overall!

Christopher and Amanda were very nice and accommodating hosts. We were able to enjoy waking up to a beautiful view on their land and the free firewood provided for the campfire. Had an overall great experience!

Chris and Amanda do such a great job! I was solo with my tent and bike trying to get a bike ride at the nearby Catskill Scenic Trail. The dogs were nice to have around and kept me company. The sauna and cold plunge session the next morning was just what I needed to recharge. Can't thank enough for letting people experience their space.

We loved camping here! The site was large and very private. The shower was wonderful and clean. The campsite pups were so friendly and kept away critters.
The only negative would be that It is not a drive up site, but amanda and her husband accommodated with their rtv to assist in transporting our stuff. It was a short walk to the site from the parking lot.

Camping here was such a great experience. The hosts were nice and helpful, and the site itself was perfect. The dogs immediately became our best friends, and it was nice to have them around on and off throughout the stay. The private sauna session we booked was amazing, and the outdoor shower is another great touch. We would definitely come back!

Had an awesome time staying here! The area was super clean, it had all of the necessities for a novice car camper like myself, and the two dogs were probably our favorite part of the stay. There are picnic tables for easy set up, Amanda provides water and you can opt for firewood if you would prefer. The outdoor shower felt great and we didn’t get a chance to try the sauna but will definitely consider it for next time.

Amanda and Christopher have a great spot and we loved the sauna and cold plunge after a lbng day hike. Semi private and well equipped with wood and water, we had a great experience and would definitely go back to Steady Slope!

Amanda's a great host, very accommodating and the campsite and all of the property are beautiful, thoughtfully put together, well-equipped, private and peaceful. We loved Ripley and Pepper, our friendly and playful canine hosts, too! Property is close drive over to Andes and Delhi for supplies, swimming holes, dining, etc. Bed was comfy and the tent was very sweet. Awesome campfires and getaway for my son's 18th bday and his pals.
