Super cute sites, I specifically loved the customer run shop! Unbelievably helpful for last minute items I forgot (like my toothbrush!). Hosts were very kind and helpful, slightly hard to find but it was super dark when we arrived.

It was such a cute property, with a short walk in, allowing it to be more secluded from the street. They also provide a wagon to help make the transition from car to campsite even easier. The facilities were so cute and overall such a great spot, so glad I stumbled upon it. :)

There is More Than Pictures Show!
My son and I recently enjoyed campsite #2. It is hard to capture all that their land has to offer in a few pictures. The site was clean and open with a nice fire pit and a decent picnic table. We have a very large tent and it fit in the back of the site no problem. The site was an old Christmas Tree farm so the remaining pines are just beautiful, especially with the twilight of the sunset shining through. Things I did not know notice ahead of time on the Hipcamp site were the cute convenience "store" next to the outhouse and the wide hiking trails. Both were much more than I would have expected for what they charge. The trails are beautiful and have a number of offshoot trails that loop back. As far as privacy, we were there one night with sites 1-4 booked and other than the folks going to site 3 a couple times, you never really saw anyone and everyone was quiet enough where it didn't bother in the least. There is enough space between the sites. There is a trail overlooking the field to the east with a couple Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sunrise or anytime. There is a bocce set in the store to use and we ranged the property after everyone left. It was so nice and we got to meet the hosts before we left. They seemed very glad to be doing this and have put a lot of work into the place. ...and you sure cannot beat the price. This is nothing like a normal campground where there are campers, pets, and noise in every direction. Highly recommend.

Clean and well kept campground. A little mazey to navigate until you realize that is for the purpose of getting around other folks' sites without disturbing them (I think).
General store was nice. Tent area was flat, quiet and peaceful location.

A great night of stargazing
Directions to get there were clear and they had a very helpful cart in the parking area to transport all my gear along with a thoughtful little general store for some essentials. The site itself felt very private with a clever path through the trees, which was very helpful for my planned night of stargazing/astrophotography attempts. Would come back to camp again!

It was a great stay here! The “general store” was super convenient for having wood for fires. We got in late at night and the light up signs were so helpful to lead us in the right direction. Definitely would recommend camping here!

Very nice. As advertised. Loved having the cart bring our stuff back and forth. We had one campsite and none of the others were occupied. Felt private. Moose lake has a lot to do. Appreciate that there were maps and pamphlets in the general store about local activities to do

Great property ... Easy to find ... well cared for property ... little camp store to get fire wood or other simple camp staples was a nice touch. And the garden cart to move your camping gear is a great addition. Very accommodating hosts ...

Amazing stay!
It obviously has a lot of effort put into all aspects of the sites. It is a little close to other campers, but it works well if you don’t need absolute privacy. They have a super fun little self serve store and signs that clearly mark the layout of the site. 9.5 out of 10 for us, super pretty, I just wish there was a little more distance in between campers!

Perfect quiet site
This was a perfect place for our stay with our dogs. Nice quiet and well maintained site. Very clean outhouse.
Parking near all the sites. Whole camp area was well marked.
Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Fun, clean, quite camp site
Love all the signs! Was very quiet even when others were camping. The general store is amazing. One of the nicest outhouses I’ve been in. A great half way point from home and the North Shore. Highly recommend!

Another amazing stay! After a lovely time at site 1, we went for the more secluded site 3. While it is a little bit more of a trek, no one wandered out our way. Plenty of hiking, free games, and a well stocked store makes this a destination we will keep returning to.

Great site! Super easy to get to and relaxing stay. Toilet was clean and well maintained with little solar lights. The "mini store" was a plus while grabbing firewood. I would definitely stay again!

Absolutely Perfect
This was one of the best camp spots I’ve been to. Very private even when fully reserved. The sites give off a very secluded feeling, even though you’re less than 150 feet from another person. Very wooded between sites, so lots of privacy. Convenient “camp site concession” such as bug spray, fire starters, cups, and anything else you may need on the go. Cheap firewood. Perfect fire pits. We will definitely be back!

I loved tenting! Felt bad we got there after midnight. I got turned around the first night we stayed. Looked for our site on the hiking trail. It was super warm so I would recommend a generator to help stay cool.

Quiet. Private. Cozy.
We absolutely loved this spot. Quiet. Private. Secluded. Our hosts thought of everything - from the wagon to bring our belongings into camp to the little “camp store” they provided with all sorts of goodies. We truly enjoyed our time here. 😊

Awesome site
Awesome camp site. Everything very well maintained. Fire pits were perfect size for a cooking/relaxing fire. All the wood they had available was nice and dry. Had an amazing time 10/10 will come again.

This is my second time up and I find my self loving it more every time I come up. Aric and Beth are the nicest people and VERY accommodating as well as VERY responsive. They have one of the nicest property’s I have ever been to and I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, but too many mosquitoes!
The camp site has everything advertised: fire pit, privacy, nice flat area to set up a tent, picnic table, etc. The area is beautiful, and pleasantly secluded.
Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were so bad we couldn’t stay more than 1 night. After battling clouds of them to get the tent set up, we were essentially trapped in the tent, and couldn’t use the amenities. We ended up deciding to cut our trip short.

Such a beautiful property to be shared. We were grateful for the convience of location! There is clearly love and care poured into the property. We chose a site hoping for privacy but we could see/hear our neighbors, which wasn't a big deal, it still felt somewhat private. The biggest downfall was the mosquitos, but that's camp life! Would recommend regardless.

Northern Minnesota Adventure
We enjoyed the peace and quiet on Aric and Beth's land. They were attentive and very helpful.
We stayed end of May and weather changed pretty quickly from day to night. We prepared for northern elements and were fine. Packed in/out our food and trash every night. Perfect for our family as we prepare for an eventual BWCA trip.
We had a very mild winter so mosquitoes and ticks were pretty bad but we made the best of it and were diligent about checking for ticks often.
A state park and town for supplies is a short 30min away... Kwik Trip about 15min away. But it's northern Minnesota out in the country.
Highlight of the trip was listening to the wolves howl at night! We stayed smart and safe and had great bonding adventures as a family.
Lots are smaller than they look in pictures but we did fine in site #2. Site #4 would have worked well too. Site #1 and 3 are great for single/couple outings. Site #5 is great for a camper. Portage from parking lot to sites is easy and they have a metal cart available to use.
Our tent is a Coleman Montana 8 and on the large side. We also have a pop-up gazebo for bugs and rain. We plan on going back for future adventures!
