This campground is beautiful! The host was nice and helpful. There were a lot of cool places to access the Little Kentucky River to play and skip rocks. Our campsite had fire rings, a grill and picnic table! We can’t wait to come back to Hones Pointe!

Steve's land was clean, clearly marked, and welcoming. Lots of space in between primitive sights with many right alongside the river. Steve was very helpful.
Would definitely camp there again.

We really like the Campground. Nice secluded area. Most of them are campsites for tenting. But the six sites that were available for our fifth wheel trailer were really nice. Lots of things to do at the campground. Some beautiful sites on the water. The Campground host was quite helpful.

If you're looking for a hidden gem in Kentucky, this campground is it! Nestled along the serene banks of the Little Kentucky River, the views are absolutely breathtaking — the kind that make you want to just sit quietly and soak it all in. The river winds gently past the campground, perfect for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. We spent a couple hours exploring the shore.
The land itself is beautifully cared for, with open fields that stretch into shady patches of old trees, and a few small trails that invite you to wander. Everything feels thoughtfully maintained — you can tell love and pride go into keeping this place beautiful. We had a fantastic fire under the stars, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the night air.
A highlight was definitely the petting zoo, where we got to meet some adorable goats and miniature horses. Scattered around the grounds were also some lovely minerals and rocks giving it a touch of wonder and discovery.
The owner was warm and welcoming. He seemed genuinely happy to have us there, and ready to help with anything we needed. He made the whole experience feel even more special.
There are electric and water hookups available,just in case you have an RV.

Booked a couple nights in advance. Firewood was already stacked by the fire upon arrival. Pull through site for easy in, easy out access. If you’re thinking of staying here go ahead and book it you’ll thank me later.

We love camping there! It was a very nice private camp site. It was right by the water, and was very well kept up. They had two Porta potties that were kept up. The campsite had allot of activities, like hiking, corn hole, horse shoe, swing sets and more. Also has an awesome common area. Just overall a very nice place!!

Camp sites rustic and semi rustic have the full spectrum of cramping. Open sunny sites, shade tree, aside the Little Kentucky River and well equipped pavilion for cooking and comfort for a crowd. Being here in the off season is a bonus for me. Walking the trails and seeing many camp sites all have unique little pleasing design. The host Steve shared the knowledge needed to make our stay quiet comfortable at our dark time arrival. Should I travel near Pendleton Ky. again, I will enjoy another stay.

Great campsite. Only criticism (and this could be just host getting used to HipCamp) was that instructions on finding our specific campsite were confusing. One email said to drive right to the campsite, but the name of the site we listed as "dispersed". Another said stop by the mailbox and text or phone the host. Never received text reply. Called and host picked up immediately. Don't list both if you're not going to respond to both. Finally, it's not an oddity to have request a campsite with power and water even if you don't have an RV. Still, site was clean and well managed. Would suggest making sure campsite is assigned and site name/number sent to campers ahead of time.

We absolutely LOVE this place. So quiet and secluded. We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Thanks again Steve for keeping such a quaint place to get away from it all for a few days.

We had an awesome experience tent camping at Steve's. The weather was perfect, we had the whole back field to ourselves, and our dogs loved being free to romp in the woods! Would definitely recommend.

We have camped here twice now and liked it both times. We were on primitive sites but my father was on a RV site this trip which was up by the pavilion and was very nice. Our dogs enjoyed walking in the river and was a beautiful view. Had a great time both times. Very peaceful and relaxing. We don't use the playground since my children are older but they do like petting on the animals on our trips. This is becoming our top choice for camping close to home.

We stayed in the electric RV site on the brook. It was beautiful, well maintained and the staff were attentive and extremely helpful! Beautiful place to stay, quiet and our dogs were welcome to frolic about :-)
Steven and Bradley and everybody involved do a beautiful job with this property! Jane and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.

Came all the way from New york. It's a Nice place to pitch a tent and stay a few days. Get away from everything. It's quiet, you can hear the forest. The stream. The sounds of the trees. Picnic tables available, Nearby porta potty. Fire pit if you want. The place is very well kept and tidy.

The campground was beautiful and there was a variety of sites to choose from. The owner was very responsive with questions and stopped in to see if we needed anything once we arrived. As listed there were not any showers as expected, so remember to bring a shower tent. There is a Pilot Truckstop not to far away and showers can be purchased there. We will definitely be back!

I loved tent camping here! I was riding my motorcycle from Chicago and Steve had no issues with me checking in a bit late (9:30pm). The site I had was mowed, had a fire pit, a grill, picnic table, literally everything you need. I bought some firewood from Steve (huge pieces!) and had a great time. I barely heard any traffic, but you do hear a lot of cows and geese! It was awesome. If I need to camp in the area again, I will absolutely be booking a spot here. Could not have gone better. The camping area is tucked away nicely, too, so you feel like you're really out there in the country. Loved it! Thanks steve!
