The River Lodge Resort property is just under 4 acres on the river with 200 feet of river frontage. There is a dock for guest use and a shallow area with stairs to it for wading and kayak/Paddleboard launch. There are lifejackets, towels, chairs and tables in the small barn by the river for guest use. Lots of pine trees for tent camping and plenty of gravel area for RV parking. There are two private homes on the property as well (owners and guest house). Learn more about this land: Riverside camping has 200 feet of river frontage. You can camp away from the river’s edge or right by the water, some terrain is sloped. Loose gravel RV parking also available. There is one outdoor, half bathroom (no shower). We have a dock available for guest use. We have three kayaks and two paddle boards available for guest use as well as lifejackets. No lifeguard on duty! There is a designated fire pit by the river. Sunsets are beautiful and mornings are peaceful, afternoons sound like a little bit of a party with all the boats on the water. You definitely get the feeling you’re on vacation here. Close to City of Rocks, mountainous bike trails, side-by-side riding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, golf course just across the river and plenty of water sports. No boat launch on property.

Andi was super sweet. She greeted us upon arrival and showed us where we, family of six, could set up our tent. This place was charming. The property has shade, the ground was super soft to sleep on, and the view is amazing. The kayaks and paddle boards were a hit and I was super grateful that she had lifejackets for us to use. There is easy entry into the river and a spot where even my 2 year old could safely play in the water. We cook dinner over the fire pit and she provided Smore‘s for dessert. I’m not sure if the ambience would be the same if her other properties that she mentions on site had guests, we were the only ones there that night. Regardless, I would highly recommend this place for a family that wants to play by the River! We loved it.

Away from people, happy chickens, heavenly water access, was pull through, hosts have set up access to glamping amenities. Having a bathroom was luxurious. Didn’t have time to use the fire pit but plan to visit again, thank you!

We were looking for a nice place to relax and let let the dog get some energy out on a road trip. This place was perfect for that! Big yard on the river with a bathroom and great firepit. Highly recommended! #vanlife

We had a delightful weekend stay at the River Lodge Resort. The kayaks and SUP boards were fun. The lawn was beautiful and we enjoyed the Adirondack chairs overlooking the River. Other families camping on the property were very kind and respectful. Unfortunately, the friends of the host (as they told us) were not following the same guidelines. One night they were out on the patio talking LOUDLY until past midnight. Their noise, the bright floodlights surrounding the property, and the rooster crowing (I counted) 37 times the next morning starting at 4am made for a poor night’s sleep. The next night was better because the owner’s mother-in-law who was also staying on the property kindly turned the flood lights off for us. The rowdy bunch went to bed earlier and was quiet. But the rooster was at it again the next morning, starting at 4:00 am on the dot. It didn’t help that ALL the chickens were roosting in the tree next to our campsite, so even with ear plugs and headphones, I couldn’t block out the rooster. Our campsite was otherwise lovely though, very shady, private, and close to the bathroom and water pump. LOVED having a cute, clean bathroom for once on a camping trip too!! Overall, it was a good trip but we’ll probably stick to conventional campsites from now on.

We loved staying here. The property is quiet and beautiful and the owners are so nice. My sons loved playing on the kayaks in the little cove next to the water and also in the river. They also thought it was fun to kayak out to a little island and play in the sand. The river view is incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

We camped with friends and our two 28 ft RV trailers side-by-side against the rolling green lawn. Perfect view of the Snake River. Fishing, kayaking access was easy. Wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed more of the amenities they have to offer including lawn games, paddle boards, kayaks, hot tub and more. These folks have created a destination resort style facility that is second to none. Friendly atmosphere. Was fun to meet other folks staying on the property and letting all our kids play, enjoy and make friends! All sorts of places to hike and explore within a short drive. Looking forward to our next adventure to Heyburn and hoping the weather cooperates!
