I did car camping with my pup on the property! It was very peaceful and I loved that it felt like we were completely surrounded by nature. The cows were so cute! Beautiful mountain top site with lots of grass. We stayed on the full moon and it was gorgeous as it came over the mountain top. Great stay.

Absolutely beautiful! Not too far from a gas station if you need ice etc. bathroom was close to sites 1-3 and clean. We stayed at #2 and I’d book sites 1 through 3 just for more privacy or if we came with a group. Our dogs loved it, even though for the most part we kept them leashed. Gorgeous at night with the moon and stars. Fast communication from host. T-Mobile worked at the top once of hill once we reached our site. Would stay again!

Beautiful views, birds chirping, cow song, med/low light polution let us see lots of stars. Directions are a bit tricky but there are signs and the road is kept up nice enough for 2WD vehicles or small cars. Some houses within view but was quiet and didn't hamper the experience. Bathroom within walking distance.

I use an SUV/tent and for this night at spot 6, the cleared area was just enough room for the set-up. There is a lot more room above the cleared/fire pit area but the grasses were quite tall. Had a fire been permitted, I would not have started one due to proximity to tent/vehicle. The night was clear and there were many stars. It was VERY quiet. I was pleased for the peacefulness and was okay to drive the "road" to the site but I would not have wanted to take an RV in to this site.

Amazing spot!! Loved it — the sunset and sunrise over the hills were so fun to watch. Great for star gazing. Peacefully secluded, but still easy to get to. Beautiful views, kept very nicely. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Secluded area on top of a hill. Great scenery. Have to go up a single lane narrow gravel road on the sheer side of a hill with overgrown weeds/dry grass that will scrape your undercarriage. Bathroom was a portable unit smaller than a 5 gallon bucket and was too full for solids. Spot 2 had a great view over the valley but a nearby road has a hilly section that caused the numerous trucks going by with their high beams on to blast us in the eyes. Made star gazing pretty difficult.
But overall am glad we checked it out.

This has probably been my favorite campsite I have ever stayed at. The views were incredible. I felt so secluded during the entire length of my stay. I don’t think there were any other campers staying so I had the whole hill to myself. The cows on the other hill were so fun to watch. The crickets chirping were so serene. It’s close to town if you need anything. It does get a bit sunny during the day but the breeze up there was fabulous. I didn’t have any cell service during my stay, but it was so nice to be disconnected. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a remote-ish campsite with spectacular views.

We stayed at #5 on top if the mountain with our RV. It was amazing! We had the whole place to ourselves and the view is spectacular. When we drove up the mountain we saw a deer who on the side of the road and at the campsite you can see al the cows walking around on the other mointain. Make sure to bring your own chair/table if you want to sit outside. We found some wooden board that we made into a table ;)

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay! It's so pretty up there! We came in July and those that slept in hammocks stayed a really great temperature. It really did feel like we were alone on the mountain! We enjoyed hearing the animals, and seeing a few cute little field mice, as well as some hawks!

Was a great spot with a nice view. It’s easy access, just make sure you don’t miss the left turn, it sneaks up on you. Was very relaxing, and also nice to wake up to the sun rise. Would definitely recommend.

The views from this property were fantastic. There was quite a bit of tall grass around the small camp site, but we camp in our van so it was perfect for us. The portable toilet was far from the site, but we have our own toilet we bring with us, so not an issue. The views alone were worth the cost, which was very reasonable. The bird populations were diverse, and there were pheasants cooing near us in the grass. Definitely would camp here again! Loved it!

This spot was definitely one of my favorite campsites I’ve been to through Hipcamp so far! We stayed at site #6 which was super private. When leaving the next morning, I saw where others had camped at the other sites but we didn’t know the whole night as we were just far enough to not hear our neighbors. The view at sunset was gorgeous and we loved the peace and quiet. You can see the dirt road that leads in below and there is an occasional car that goes by but overall a super peaceful spot. Would highly recommend and visit again if ever in the area!

Really don’t know where to start - absolutely breathtaking. I stayed in #6 which is tucked away and felt so secluded. As a female solo traveler, I felt totally safe. Perfect for epic sunrise and sunset views. I have a Subaru legacy and she was able to drive over the grass. The stars and silence were as peaceful as it gets. Highly recommend for some solitude!

Beautiful views and plenty of space to ourselves! We loved using the Adirondack chairs to watch the sunset, listening to birds and cattle in the distance. The facilities were nice, and the old pieces of farm equipment really added to the ambiance.
When visiting this space, keep in mind that you’ll need to pass the mailbox on the road (we accidentally turned left too soon!) but once you find the correct driveway, it’s clear how to get to the sites. Additionally, the road to the top is unpaved and narrow. Plan accordingly.

I think this one took me by a great surprise. The campsite was secluded. The fireplace with a chimney was thoughtful given the altitude and the winds. The view in the morning was breathtaking. The restroom was a bit far from the campsite but we weren't too bothered by it. All in all I would highly recommend it for all tge fellow hipcampers.

Dry camp 6 was amazing. It was very quiet and peaceful. The toilet wasn't too far away. We were able to drive up with no issues in a 2 wheel drive car. Not a lot of shade so bring something for shade if you are hanging out at the campsite. Overall we really really enjoyed our stay. We hope to come back again in the future.

This is a gorgeous campsite! The mountain views are incredible and the site felt very secluded — We couldn’t see or hear any other groups so we were able to relax and let our dogs off leash without being worried.
The only downside to the campsite was how tall the grass was. The photos on the listing make it seem like you’ll be camping in a dirt area or maybe an area with short grass, but the entire campsite was covered in thick grass that was 3-4 feet tall. Obviously this isn’t the end of the world, but it did make putting down tents and walking around more of a hassle.
That being said, I’d still recommend the campsite to anyone and I’d definitely return myself. It was so serene, the directions made it easy to find, and the owners responded to my questions very quickly too.
